I was too young to watch either of them play much. I think I was 11 the first (and only) time I saw Geremi play, which was a 10 minute spell at the end of a UCL match. I never saw Babayaro in a Chelsea shirt and assumed he was one of our failed youth products who went on to have a decent career elsewhere.

Babayaro played for us for 8 years, playing over 200 games. He was an epic player!

Yeah he is, after all that money...So sad....SMH....

i don't have mercy for these guys that spend millions not thinking about tomorow, then they wake up one day and they are broke.

think about those who haven't had a dime in their pocket all their life.

This guy may have been the most pointless signing we have ever made. What was the point of him? He played 2/3 games if i remember right? Don't even remember if he was any good or not.

Do you guys remember that he also loaned in player called Fábio Paím ?:D

From Sporting Lisbon, dubbed the next Ronaldo or Nani. Never made it out of our reserve side.

As for Mineiro, didn't he come on for about 15 minutes in a cup game and then was never seen again?

he started 1 game against Burnley in the League Cup, the game where Drogba threw a coin back at the Burnley fans
