Am always open 2o upgrades anywhere but right now I am well chuffed with our MF

2 most important things MF wise is sign Mat K and chop down the deadwood so we can see whats going on

Think its important Sarris susses out just what/where/when young Ethan will/can play.
Jorgis got the DPM nailed down so it would mean sub.

DL of course would be the logical step but what do we do with Andreas?

Ethan IMVHO (dont hit me Mz Vesper) is my choice. IF Andreas was better in the offence then it would be a harder choice. But I think young Ampadu has it for me.

We just have to convince Sarri that Luiz is a brainfart in waiting.

Unless of course we bring in a new CB which of course we have hammered out. lol

Oh, I can see Ampadu becoming better than AC. No issues there. I have never seen a 16/17 yo with his level of defensive play. Both he and AC can also play at MF as well. I just want Luiz out.

If he is sold (Cahill is also gone for sure) we still absolutely need to buy 2 other CBs. We cant roll thru 55 games with only 3. That's suicidal, lol. Well, Azpi can play CB, so technically 4. But that means its all or nothing with Zappacosta at RB.

That is why I am am so fixated on Pavard. 2 birds, one stone.

Surprised no one posted here yet. I think this was his best performance in a Chelsea shirt so far. He's slowly building confidence and you can see it in his game. Just need him to work on fitness and play a full 90 min.

But Mat K had a great game. Hes certainly got some good passes in him and that one to Eden was top notch.

Lets hope that Granny has already made some sort of a deal that cant be talked about till the next tax year

No - worse case is we lose them, get paid less than 1/2 of Edens worth as we have no leverage and we cant afford a top 3 upgrades nor a AMF that matches Kovacic!

Who is this X Factor?

IF we are to be a true CL threat we need a truly WC CB, a WC LB, probably a WC AMF if Barkley doesnt pan out (especially if Kante simply doesn't adapt to new role, as then we slide Kovacic (or his replacement IF we lose him back ro RM) over to Kante role and go all out for a true AMF like Talisca or even better Kai Havertz, plus a WC RW and WC striker.

Thats not even counting losing Hazard (for, like UJ said, half his true worth).

Simply adding a striker solves none of those other issues.

Nope. We have needed a proper balance for Eden ever since he joined and we tried MANY in that position with varying degrees of success.  A WC RW has been needed as much as we have needed creativity - which in the MF we now gladly have (tho I'd love Kovacic to set his  sights on the goal as I think he could do that. It would solve that particular issue)

And I dont understand how/why Sarri hasn't tried other players on the RW AND striker. He has done it very successfully at Napoli. Maybe he feels more pressure on him to succeed here?
