IF we knew for sure

that CHO and Eden (or even just CHO TBH)

were leaving

I would TOTALLY swap

Morata

for

LW Thomas Lemar

they both cost almost exactly the same

Atleti are shopping him

I think he is a  tremendous talent (2nd best on that Mbbappe led Monaco semi-final CL team) regardless of his troubles now in that cocked up Atleti offence

and he would flourish in Sarriball

why are they selling him after 6 months. i would buy him even if both cho and hazard are staying.

It is mostly just rumours, but the press are crucifying them for dropping insane money on him (they bought 70% rights for 72m euros) and having him struggle really badly now.

How is Lemar worth 100 million euros?

Sounds like it's a matter of when and not if now to Atletico Madrid.

Interesting move.

I think he suits Atletico pretty well given they are predominantly a counter attacking team.

If he can get going he will add to a different option to Costa and Griezmann but thats only if he can get going though. Atletico are maybe one of the only clubs who could turn a striker in his predicament around slightly. Theyve always had good strikers. Even Torres at the end there, he was a different player, although nowhere near his best but his confidence wasnt as shot.

As long as he is as far away from this club as possible I'm not bothered how he does.

True.

Im quite gutted because the first 10 games here he looked a really good player, until after that injury v City. Obviously now hes nowhere near that.

Its a curious case because something obviously just snapped with him, he went from a very good footballer (nobody will admit it but at the start he was carrying the team with his goals and consistently played well) with all the right qualities to do well, basically to absolutely nothing in like the space of 3 months. Even at the start when he missed chances it didnt affect him but then it turned. Wasnt just that his general play and attitude deteriorated hugely.

Wonder how Higuain does if he comes in.

I know Higuain isn't everyones cup of tea, but the thing with him you no for a fact he will roll his sleeves up and fight, he's always been like that. His movement has always been top class, he will run the channels and he's incredible with his back to goal and link up play. If the loan deal is right and works for all parties it is a low risk gamble. His relationship with Sarri is something a lot of people are hanging on, I think Sarri can make this work I really do.

I agree 100% but then you get the idiots who think hes washed up because hes struggling in a struggling Milan side 😂

If theres one thing Higuain has shown since playing in Europe is he knows where the net is. One bad season out of the last what 12 is nothing. Hes got pedigree and had the beet season of his career under Sarri. I think its a huge plus.

Thats how I have always thought since Sarri came.

But looking at how his weight ballooned and how his numbers have come down its got me nervous. Add that age but and very high wages and makes me not sure.

But as a loan fine as long as we keep looking for a starter.

Is there anyone at AM we could use as a swap??
