Painful to watch.

It's actually even worse when you remind yourself that Cahill plays on his off-side and does a decent amount of passing and dribbling with his left foot. Zouma looks beyond terrible on his good side fml

Fair enough but why pick him out when the whole team is doing just that? Can't you see the problem is our build up play from the back (or lack therof) which is making us look so shit?

Because he's class above not just the opposition but everyone on the field. Of course that's not THE problem we have. I've whined about plenty of other stuff as well :P

Could he do more than not very accurate one-touch passes or is that too much to ask for?

Exactly, but for now it is  a system failure....so many bad passes. It is mind boggling....

It's seems it's only me and you that have noticed our biggest problem in this game. It just goes to show that even a championship team press can render non-ball playing centrebacks hopeless.

That we look poor at the back is understandable since there's no cohesion or understanding between that back line and keeper. That we look absolutely abysmal in attack with all of our best players out there is concerning. If they can't handle this shit Wolves side and couldn't break down Burnley it's got to be a worry for Swansea who are in great form and have been a bogey side for us for the past couple of years.

Hazard and Diego in particular look dreadful.

Zouma for Batshuayi. We can't build attacks, Costa can't win any headers in the air. They've rendered us useless. Conte.please.do.it.now.  I can't endure another half like that. That was the biggest pile of rubbish we've played this season.

Yup, Zouma is a liability in possession. And I'm wondering if it's necessary to play 3-4-3 all the time even when it clearly isn't working and players are being fitted to the formation rather than the other way around. And because we have 3 players back all the time we look very scarce in attack, it's like we're playing Barca when comparing how many bodies Wolves commit forward and how many we do. When Azpi is playing it isn't that noticeable because he pushes forward all the time, Zouma is incapable of that and Ake is too fresh to draw any conclusions yet. Hopefully we go with a back 4 in the 2nd half or if we're not gonna change the formation, then Azpi should be brought on to balance our incompetence on the ball.

We seem to be lacking motivation as well. Lots of players waiting for the ball to arrive to them instead of making movements.

Terry is past it completely, sadly, Zouma has almost zero composure or technical ability on the ball, and Aké just isn't quite up to speed yet. Pedro playing like a fish out of water as a wingback.

This game just goes to show you how dependent we are on Luiz and Azpi. Also shows we 100% need to target another CB with ability in the summer.
