Stoke could have lost by 10-1 today at Enfield.
The reds were shooting balls at their own men instead of aiming for the goalposts.
L'pool may develop into Chelsea's opponent in the race.
City and the specialists no, let's be serious !
Also United are staging a revival and if nothing else they will qualify for the CL.

City and liverpool got lucky IMO

Hull were heading for a point until a very silly tackle from Andrew Robertson, after that they capitulated.

Stoke should have been 2 up with a bit of luck, at 1-0 , I have no idea why Glen Johnson doesn't boot the ball away...why he tried to play the ball out from that position in the box is beyond me, the second liverpool goal keeper should do better!

Think 3-0 and 4-1 flattered them.

I have no doubt Stoke will turn into world beaters against us, Could be hard work! and they will 100 % rile up Diego more than any other team!

TIBO

Azpi Dave Cahill

Moses Matic Kante Alonso

Willian Costa Hazard

i think youre spot on mate, thats usually the story with us and these teams ( Newcastle comes to mind... ), but i have more confidence than ever that we can upset that sort of scenario, minding what we´ve done so far, of course im not counting any chickens yet but im sure Conte will have the players ready and riled up for this one just like in all previous matches, this game is not a given, i know its hard, but just try and keep the momentum going for as long as possible. Cheers

Fabregas is the only reason this win streak is still ongoing. He has to start especially against teams that aren't Top 6 & are coming to the Bridge to park the bus. That Matic/Kante pivot has been found out against certain sides.

Or start Kante and Matic and see if we can overcome them. Fabregas on in 60th min when stoke are tired and he has more time on the ball

Newcastle, and thats only away, so in other words one team, one fixture.

Since Stoke have been promoted we have won 8 drew 1 at home and up there we have won 4 drew 2 and lost 2, only United out of the big teams have a better record at Stoke's stadium in the same period and only Arsenal out of the teams have a better home record vs them. The notion that Stoke save there best game for us while rolling over for our rivals is laughable.

Those suckers rested some of their best players when they rolled over at Anfield. Couldn't believe dinosaurs like crouch and Walters still play football, let alone start over Bojan and bony. Hope we thrash them so no other team tries those little tricks and rests players before facing us.

nothing in football surprises me anymore, ive seen this shit happen countless times in football, so its simple, we play our A game and we should be fine, but im not counting any chickens yet, still a long way to go. Cheers

Read somewhere that the African Cup of Nations starts next month, had to quickly google the nationality of Kante. Pfff what a relief. Remember those days when we lost half our starting 11 to that cup.

You been living under a rock? How could you not know Kante is french....

I think this is the 1st season in a long time we had no players not playing in African Cup of Nations :D. Hope Senegal go all the way in winning it cause mane will miss the chelsea match

When? Apart from Newcastle away what lesser fixture do we have a considerably worse record on compared to the other top 6? Everton and Saints got draws at The Ethiad and "rolled over" for us weeks later. When you are a midtable or relegation threatened team playing one of the big boys you have to be on you're game and tactically good to compete, sometimes that happens and they run the top side close or get a result, other times it doesn't and they get comfortably beaten by scorelines ranging from 2-0 to 6- 0.

If Stoke run us close or even get a result after the Anfield game it won't be because theres some massive conspiracy against us, we have benefitted from that in reverse as many times as been the victims, including as recently as October/November with the above example i gave.

why are you making such a big deal out of this? look i dont want to drag this on, i wasnt  just talking about Chelsea, but football in general, other leagues, etc. i should have been more specific, for example, ive seen Benfica do it many times over the years, it happens, i replied to you before and said that if we play our A game against Stoke, we should be fine, but you know damn well that in football nothing is a given, but i hope we get the win of course and keep the momentum going. Cheers and goodluck

I also heard that Firmino´s drink and driving case is scheduled for the day we play them. He might miss the game as well. :D:D

Its nothing against you, i just see this notion every time we play a lesser side and youre post was the straw that broke the camels back.

They might get close, but Egypt want their eighth title (fourth in a row). [emoji2]
