the wes 7,212
And if that was not enough, Hughes has certainly not given up on the prospect of signing Terry, even though he is currently adopting a diplomatic stance to a situation that may begin to unravel at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea attempt to discover their captain's intentions before they leave for the United States on Thursday. "I have had fantastic respect for John Terry since I saw him as a young player when I was at Chelsea," said Hughes. "He is a great player and an outstanding captain. Any manager would covet a player like that. "But we have to respect he plays for Chelsea."

SuperSheva7 0
On the guardian now... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/ju...es-transfer-bid Ok, enough of this shit. I really want to know what is going on JT!!
warnie_666 1,081
Hughes has Blatantly said that withplayers like Gerrard and Messi you dont have a chance cus you know they will never leave their clubs. But with Terry, we sense a chance cus we have information that he is agitated at Chelsea. If I called myself Mr. Chelsea all these years, Id be insulted by that comment. But JT is getting on my fucking nerves. He is quiet, looking to milk this situation. I dun care if he leaves, but I would see it as an insult to our Club, our Fans and everybody who glorified JT as Mr. Chelsea. It will be hard to trust any player if JT goes to Man City. Rambo 1,729
Lampard will be the new captain if you don't speak soon JT.

.Cee 50
You know JT wouldn't come come out and say anything if he can get an even BIGGER contract over this circus. No point demanding that he does (I'd be glad if proven wrong, tho'.). If he goes to City I will lose all respect for him. I won't even have the heart to watch him play for England knowing that he plays for those big money wankers! You mean an even bigger money people than us? chrismada9 1,948
it's on the bbc sport website now that Hughes wants to sign Terry!! Fuck this, I can't take it anymore!! JT is just being a right arsehole!!
Milan 17,958
I somehow feel that after these reports a Hughes's comments JT will publicly speak. Come on John, let's make it clear!! Just few words!
Term-X 7,891
this silence from terry is unsettling.
chrismada9 1,948
I think it's the fact that Terry spent most of his holiday with Mark Hughes is the main stick in Chelsea's craw. Unless they were talking terms during that time, I don't think Terry has wanted to say anything to the media for a long time, and I think that's why everyone is getting frustrated. Terry NEEDS to let everyone know where he stands! He needs to make a decision. Stay with Chelsea and fulfil your European ambitions and make the fans happy, or go to Man City, deepen your pockets, and at the same time, waste your image and lose all faith from those who look up to you as a cult hero! As if I have any patience for him at the moment anyway, seems like he deserves to walk out the Chelsea door at the moment with the way he's keeping everything silent! I just feel so frustrated and disappointed in him!! Edited July 15, 2009 by CJ Revo
Term-X 7,891
players who are being accused of something or linked to a club when they are happy instantly give there view to the media, but terry has been silent for a long time over this deal. but imo terry leaving for another premiership club is unforgivable. chrismada9 1,948
It just amazes me when you think of how loyal John Terry is to Chelsea, would stay silent over this. It makes you think to yourself that you just can't trust any player, however loyal you think they are.
bigbluewillie 1,930
now fucking hughes is at it again. made another bid stating in he thinks JT needs a new challenge. like the rest, i just wish JT would come out and make a statement, just on this matter alone he's getting on my fucking nerves not saying anything. regards: JBD Edited July 15, 2009 by josesbluediamonds
Stamford 3
Personally, I think he is going, I sincerely hope I am wrong. But this is looking all to inevitable.
chrismada9 1,948
Well he's leaving in the worst possible way if he does! No-one is bigger than the club at the end of the day, and if he wants to go to a small club with big money and no chance of winning the champions league, then that's his problem!! ZanSnake 1,211
At one point i actually liked Mark Hughes for what he had acomplished at Blackburn, making quite a good team with a limited amount of money, but now he has all the money in the fucking world, he has turned into a giant dick! He has bought way to many strikers, and thinks he can get any player he wants. I hope this turns out like Kaka, where he stayed (not the bit where he fucked off to Madrid) after Man Shity offered a fuck load of money. Chelsea need Terry, but does he need us? I hope he says something soon, i am really annoyed he hasn't said anything as of yet.
EskWeston 696
It is ridiculous to think that in a couple of months JT would go from die hard Chelsea loving the club and wanting to stay forever to being off to Man City because they wave a pound notes his way!!! It's just not going to happen! Man City's ambtion for this season is to break into the top 4! And they will be lucky if they manage that!! And the players they have chosen to help them do that are Barry, Santa Cuz, Adebayor and Tevez!! Despite all their bluster about wanting to sign Kaka, Villa, Terry and any other big name player they are just not going to attract them, even with the money being chucked about! IF JT does leave it will be for 1 reason and 1 reason only - cash! Despite what the papers write about lack of ambition and all the rest it is clearly rubbish! It will also show that JT is not the person we have all thought he was
Blue FC 3
So because he's just being silent, it's bad? Maybe there's an ulterior motive...don't jump to conclusions. But the smartest thing to do right now would be for every Chelsea fan to ignore, meaning not comment or discuss, anything to do with the JT saga. That way it will die quickly =-)
Term-X 7,891
how could there possibly be an ulterior motive.. it's because he's been silent this story has any credibility
