Fulham Broadway 17,313
I dont think there were many saying he should be sold. It was his silence coupled with a potential £50 million offer that many thought fuck it , wheres the loyalty ? At the end of the day it was a calculated silence that brings him an extra £50 000 a week or whatever, so a nice bit of business for his on a percentage ''advisors'', ala Lampard last season. Just hope he stays injury free and as vocal as ever..... With the Arab owners of Man city the bar will have been raised and wages for top players will rise -but they're still behind some of the US 'stars' wages who play that rounders thing, Robocop rugby and mens netball.... boshman 1,073
Terry's commitment and never-say-die attitude is untouched by everybody in world football. He has blue blood coursing through his veins. He epitomises everything that is Chelsea. He is Chelsea. In my opinion, when this man retires he will retire as the biggest Chelsea legend there is... and ever will be. JT... Captain. Leader. Legend. Come on the Chels! Blueboy 14
Fabio Capello alone will make the decision about John Terry’s position. The FA confirms that England manager Fabio Capello alone will make the decision about John Terry’s position. An FA spokesman said: "Fabio is fully up to speed with developments regarding John Terry. He spoke with our Chairman Lord Triesman and Chief Executive Ian Watmore today, who both backed him to make the best decision for England on footballing grounds. Fabio is dealing with the matter in his own way using his extensive experience as a football manager."Fabio Capello returns to England later this week and will travel to Warsaw for the Euro 2012 qualifying competition draw this weekend.-------------------------------------www.thefa.com-------------------------------------

BlueLion. 21,491
Looks like he'll stay on as England captain then. Capello and Terry are on very close terms.

Rubber bullets 1,183
No doubt the tabloid will want Capello sacked if he keeps Terry as captain.
Laylabelle 9,535
No doubt the tabloid will want Capello sacked if he keeps Terry as captain.Hell yeh they'd take up half the paper with their moaning and stories!! They were saying in the Mail how someone who has good leadership and not yobbish should be Captain...yobbish eh that kinda rules out the ones they want to be Captain! Rubber bullets 1,183
so who`s better ,rooney ferdinand gerrard!!!!.i don`t think so.If we really were to go with tabloid pressure on a captain that is 'squeaky clean' to satisfy their 'high morale taste' then we might as well put Rob Green as captain.
