It doesn't work. I really don't get it. Chelsea's the last team to play without a striker. When there is a striker present in a big game, he's often very isolated. A non-striker has no idea how to play in such conditions.

I think I read a stat somewhere that bar his first season with Chelsea, as in his second stint, Mourinho's teams never finished worse than third in goals scored. He "played ugly" because this shit team showed signs of this year last year and he tried to paper over the cracks. Yes he brought a lot of negative attention press-wise but it's because this squad sucks. Plain and simple. Hiddink dissapointed me by not starting Traore who played striker for Vitesse and instead went back to Hazard who did about as much as Schurrle did as a false 9 at Old Trafford.
