Muzchap 8,966
im still not entirely convinced that he's a world class manager. He's good at building an attractive attacking philosophy - which is entirely opposite to what we have now (unattractive, defensive football)I, like others think Man city is his destination, spend what he likes and already have an abundance of attacking players. Easy win for him, here he would have to work his bollocks off...
Rhino's Skin 972
Can we just refer to him as Guardiola unless he becomes our man?Pep is too personal and friendly for someone who has mugged us off before in several ways and isn't one of us.Next we will be referring to the Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool managers by their first names as well

stroey 2,525
Pep Guardiola will replace Manuel Pellegrini as Man City manager next season. He will start work on 30/06/2016. [Cadena COPE]Cadena COPE reliable?
Rhino's Skin 972
Guardiola is a believer in this 3 year cycle malarkey. He was reluctant to do a 4th at Barca. If he came here or off to Utd, City etc he would only give 3 years.

DYC. 7,542
I don't believe in a happy marriage between Guardiola and Chelsea. Not now anyway. The constant comparisons with Mourinho alone. Nah...
Madmax 9,219
Simeone please. Probably be best to ask him if he minds managing a Championship level team though.
Rekin 835
Im sure Guardiola would enjoy fixing what many would consider Mou's mess. With Bayern he got what basically was a self-playing piano, so maybe he would enjoy a bigger project where he gets to insert his philosophy. I do not think we will get him though, but it would be great if we did.
Tautvix 1,321
Pep is not so stupid to go to Chelsea. There's no reason for him to come here.
MichaelDance 552
The only real argument they bring forward is the number of trophies he's won. I have never really heard any of them talking about the bigger picture, analyzing in depth or whatnot... it's all only about trophies.True but that's all Roman wants, and today he's proven it, he wants to stay in the Premier league and he's lost faith in our Mourinho, and I bet any money we won't win another trophy unless it's under pep, and which world class manager in any mind would work with a club which might be relegated in a few months? because without a world class manager like Mourinho or pep we won't get any points or anywhere.... MichaelDance 552
Mate that will be one underused bookmark Mou has clearly lost the dressing room and for a while now...time will tell, let's see our next match this Saturday mate... You and some others believe it's the manager, time will tell if we loose again your point is invalid. If we win then it's the players and they wanted Mourinho out. Starman60 1,343
Mr Guardiola (as I agree with Rhino Skin for once ) would be nice, but that is only a short term fix for 3 years...Mr Simieone for me........He'd boot out the primadonna's and put some steel into our side, plus play some good football while introducing our youth. Henrique 9,133
I would like to understand why Simeone seems the favorite of many. I'm afraid its only based on the stereotype that Chelsea is team suited to managers that play a "solid/defensive" football than the ones who play an attacking style, and that stereotype itself is based in years and years of a conservative Special One.
