CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
Just as I said last season, I am definitely in favour of throwing him in this season as opposed to buying elsewhere. None of the alternatives seem compelling. Azpilicueta is better on the left flank anyway. He's crap going forward on both sides.
Blue Colored Sky 1,807
IMO doesn't look convincing. He still has lapses in concentration and omg it will cost us a lot I tell you right now. On positive note, he is good at dealing with crosses in the box when he acts as a third CB. He can be good cover for all the backline positions. I beg for proper left-back still. Also he is predominantly right footed but yeah the need for a wc left back is now 2nd priority behind Cb unless Conte plays 3 Cb's at the back , and uses Kennedy out on the left . The way I figure it, we might as well do it while we have no international football. Don't forget, he looks (at his worst) no worse than Ivanovic, and when Zouma returns the whole defence will look more stable. If we keep Kenedy knocking around then we can always rotate the two depending on the match situation.
LondonsFinest 692
People forget he is making his first steps in PROFESSIONAL football. Let him grind out his mistakes. He'll only learn from them. mccg
Bir_CFC 3,455
He was very very bad in the first 20-30 minutes yesterday, got a bit better as the game went on but overall a very poor showing. He's still shown enough to be kept around as cover but he'll get destroyed if he's thrown in as first choice. Need to take small steps with him, he's still very young. We definitely need to sign at least one more fullback, right or left, because Aina isn't ready to start and Ivanovic should never start. With Baba leaving, I'd reckon a fullback is a higher priority than CB now.

Give the kid some time! MefiX19

MefiX19 1,092
Looked out of place at LWB, we really need to bring back Kenedy.  Although he got some skills and nice technique, i think he would do ALOT better at RWB.
BlueLyon 9,359
Like his confidence. He is quick and strong, good on the ball, but it shows he is inexperienced. Needs to work on decision making and defending, but I think he could definately make it here. Maybe on right side he would feel more comfortable tho. dkim2
