manpe 10,861
He wasn't sincere. At the end of the day, most of them are in it for the money these days, Lampard's no different. I really hoped he was different. I'm gutted if my idol isn't

BlueLion. 21,491
The person who mentioned on the previous page that the way the club are keeping quiet is a good sign. If they had have immediately released a statement saying it was all speculation, I'd be worried. They are going about it VERY professionally. For once. If they had have immediately released a statement saying it was all speculation, I'd be worried. They are going about it VERY professionally. For once. That can be true. Hopefully it will be taken care of after he's talked to Scolari. When I finally see titles "Lampsy signs a new contract", you won't believe the relief

the wes 7,212
Sources close to Stamford Bridge suggest that Chelsea will dump Frank Lampard in the reserves for a year rather than allow him to join Inter Milan. Lampard has been linked with a move to Inter Milan for several weeks now, following the appointment of former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as the new boss of the Italian champions. France Football claimed on Friday that Lampard had signed a four-year contract with Inter, worth €7.3m a year, and that the Nerazzurri would pay Chelsea a transfer fee of €9m. This deal has not become official yet though, and there are reports emanating from Stamford Bridge that Chelsea are fighting tooth and nail to prevent the player from leaving. Indeed it is even said that if Lampard refuses to sign a new contract in West London, Chelsea could decide to let the player rot in the reserves for a year until his contract expires in 2009. Lampard would then be able to leave on a Bosman transfer as he would be a free agent. Inter have made the signing of a top class attacking midfielder their summer priority, and they are also believed to be on the verge of capturing FC Porto star Ricardo Quaresma. Yan Dylan 0
Despite i love him so much, i wouldn't like to hold him over his unwilling will. If a player wants to go, there's the door, the club is more important than a player, and i'm before all a Chelsea Fan. If he wants to stay, there's no problem. Now, we have to wait, Que Sera Sera ! Kez 2,727
We're better off selling him rather than leaving him to rot in the reserves and get nothing for him

True_Blue 469
Nothing on any major site, all the crap one's report shit. When i see it on the Chelsea Official, then i'll belive it. Fuck off Jose

Stamford 3
If Frank wants to go, the only sensible thing to do would be to let him. I see absolutely no point in hanging onto a player that wants to go. But in saying that, until I hear Lampard saying he wants to go, or I read it on Chelsea's website, I personally don't believe he does want to go. chelseapaul 0
I dont think they can legally dump him in the reserves or the bench. Me thinks theres a clause in the contracts which allows the player to sue the club if he/they feel they are being unfairly treated. Same situation as pretty boy at ManUre... I haven't read anywhere that Chelsea would do that, only to hold onto him and let him go next year, a year older and slower so it keeps Jose' and his wolves at bay. But the bottom line is I will believe it when Chelsea say's it has or has not happened. Lets not forget we did the same thing to Porto when Jose' came over to us.....'swings and round abouts' come into mind. Milan 17,956
“No, please, I am on holiday,” Lampard is quoted in Gazzetta dello Sport. “It’s a beautiful city (Taormina), Italy is a wonderful country.” http://sport.setanta.com/en/Sport/News/Foo...pard-on-future/
bombayblue™ 55
all those saying jose to fuck off, jose is doing what any manger would do looking around for the best talent that aside i still won't believe lamps would leave and i know for sure jose knows it too and wouldn't even try tempting him..
