Ollie 4,400
We need Atletico to have a shit season if he's not coming in Jan. They need to be finishing outside of the UCL places again. But saying that, he's nothing without the service. I don't think he woulda been any better than Torres last Friday simply because we were shit as a whole team. Atletico were better than us all over the pitch.

Stevenx1313 17
I would love to see him here if torres cannot show he is a wc striker. I would love to see him prove it, but if it doesnt happen I would be very happy with this. Hopefully he can make us a threat for the title if torres doesnt. Heisenberg 1,824
And Simeone has admitted that if Falcao's stunning performance against the Champions League winners had come a few days before the summer transfer window closed, he could have struggled to prevent the forward leaving the Vicente Calderon."Thank goodness the market is closed, because if we had played a few days ago we would have had real problems keeping him," Simeone told reporters. He added: "I believe that Falcao is one of the strongest strikers in the world."http://www.crunchsports.com/category/Soccer/Chelsea-FC-target-Radamel-Falcao-could-have-left-Atletico-Madrid-admits-coach-201209010027/Its Crunchsports I know , its the only thing i've found today about Falcagoal.Falcao had also been linked with Manchester City during the summer.Clubs will now have to wait until the transfer window reopens in January. rantdeville 195
Service service service service service service service. Stop saying that word. How many more times does torres have to lose the ball trying to take on defenders before we stop making that excuse. Falcao chipped cech, then hit the upper V back post from 17 yards, then nutmegged cech 1v1, for his third. He also had two more chances IIRC. Sure, if service is getting the ball to your feet Falcao got it but they pass it to Torres all the time, only for him to lose it. We were awful, no doubt, but what he did, when he did it was outrageous. Dont get me wrong, Torres is a good striker, Falcao is next level. End of story. Lots of money tho...######

Falcao is not that type of striker who needs good service to score goals he only needs decent service as he is capable of scoring from nothing and is capable of creating his own chances, he only needs half a chance and he will put the ball in the back of the net, just like Drogba, he never needed great service to score as he could do the rest on his own Falcao is no different. TheCount 146
Lets be fair,We need a striker who can make a goal and take service, Falcao maybe be on better form, but is smaller then torres and needs the same service as him, and has no PL experience, we need a striker who can do both for a start.not true! Falcao is not that type of striker who needs good service to score goals he only needs decent service as he is capable of scoring from nothing and is capable of creating his own chances, he only needs half a chance and he will put the ball in the back of the net, just like Drogba, he never needed great service to score as he could do the rest on his own Falcao is no different.Drogba and falcao, are entirely different players, Torres and Falcao are very similar. Rowan_Osborn 58
We're still his most likely destination. As long as Madrid show no interest he can be ours.Players hardly ever go from Atletico to Real, if they did Aguero would of most likely been a Real player but as it was their rivals Atletico increased the price they wanted. Kieran. 6,317
I know that it feels like most of us keep saying "6 more months for Nando" over and over again, but it's really now or never for Torres. We may buy Falcao regardless.

We may buy Falcao regardless.Torres should do well this season, if he doesn't he has no excuses; we are playing to suit him and he's definitely getting the service now. I would still like us to buy Falcao, as i reckon he is the best striker in the world currently. We missed Aguero because we thought we had too many strikers, I would hate for it to happen again.
