Swoopz 183
If AVB was able to get those goals out of a player like Falcao, he should have no problem doing the same with Torres. I dont see the need in Falcao coming here unless we are getting rid of Anelka + Kalou.
BlueLion. 21,491
If Falcao comes to Chelsea we have to get rid of Anelka, and Kalou.Falcao and Sturridge in, Kalou and Anelka out!YES YES YES!!!
Joker10 946
If we are going to sign another striker i prefer Falcao over Lukaku.
laeth 527
No point us buying Falcao as he plays in exactly the same position as Torres and Torres wouldn't be able to play on the right or left. We need to stop buying out and out strikers damn it.
Tomarse 2
I still think that it should be Hulk to come in. Don't get me wrong, Falcao is an excellent goalscorer, but it's hard to see where he would fit into the system.

chrismada9 1,948
Return of the diamond?CechIvanovic - Luiz - Terry - ColeEssienRamires - LampardMoutinhoTorres - FalcaoThat looks like a real sexy lineup! The only hiccup I would endear, is the fact that Torres and Falcao work better when they're on their own up front. Do they work well together, we don't really know that!

NoFear 23
I would prefer a 4-3-3 over diamond as well... Diamond is too functional and not a very fluid system.. whereas playing with 2 wingers is exciting But the problem is we do not have any proper winger... Lets just hope we get some class wingers in before the transfer window closes...

Peace. 4,352
Return of the diamond?CechIvanovic - Luiz - Terry - ColeEssienRamires - LampardMoutinhoTorres - FalcaoI hope no.Essien : already stated my mind on him being a holding midfielder, ie he doesn't offer enough defensive stability to my eyes.Lampard : hum, when we briefly played in diamond, he didn't convince me when playing there.Moutinho : To play a diamond, a n°10 is necessary. I do not think Moutinho could fulfil this role. Someone like Ganso, or even Kakuta could do it.

BlueLion. 21,491
Not a chance. 4-3-3. Thats his style. You don't come into a club and play your own style. You adapt to the players you have. Carlo found that out when the diamond didn't work out first time.Last season we saw 4-3-3 no longer works with the players we have. And judging by the fact we only seem to want to buy centre forwards and central midfielders, not wingers and wide midfielders, you can bet we're not looking to play 4-3-3, because there is no way on earth the club are willing to keep Kalou, Anelka, Malouda and Yury as our wingers. LDN Blue 7,903
no way on earth the club are willing to keep Kalou, Anelka, Malouda and Yury as our wingers.I have a sick feeling you're wrong. In fact, Malouda's already been offered a contract renewal remember, "I have had two meetings with the chairman. But the club's policy is to sign players beyond the age of 30 one year after another. That is my situation." Blue Armour 4,439
Return of the diamond?CechIvanovic - Luiz - Terry - ColeEssienRamires - LampardMoutinhoTorres - Falcao4-3-3 is still our most successful formation..That being said, we don't always have to rely upon one formation... and the game's different now..there's no such thing as a rigid formation in any of the good teams....And is there any inkling of truth about us going to get Porto players? I don't think we're going to sign players from the new manager's former club just for the sake of it...with Mourinho it was different as we were still finishing a half built squad...And if its one thing we don't really need from Porto right now its another striker....
