This isnt a typical overreaction post, this is a seriously worried Chelsea fan about this season and need to vent after being embarassed this evening.

Most of our players look lethargic, Fabregas and Hazard have shocked me at how unprepared they look. I believe a lot of that is the lack of competition, serious competition for places this year. We are coasting.

We have coasted in the transfer market, we are coasting with our team selections, and we are not addressing the elephants in the room aka our central midfield and our right back position.

We have just been humiliated by Man City, and they look like we did last season. Fresh and up for the challenge. We look like they did. Totally out of ideas early on and floundering.

I hope I'm wrong but this season could be a downer. We MUST come out all guns blazing in the next game not only for a results sake but for the sake of our pride. Some transfers to develop the team would be good before the window shuts.

I'm not normally one to be like this, as most of you can tell from my previous posts but something HAS to be done.

That being said. WELL DONE ASMIR BEGOVIC. The only player to give me pride to be a Chelsea fan. Play him next game.

It is a cumulative of problems starting with Jose and the board down to the players

1. We fail to strengthen thinking our team is strong enough

2. Jose creates controversy, distracts the players and bring tension

3. Terry, Ivanovic and others are old and not getting better

4. Main striker, Costa seems to be completely off form and ravaged by injury

There are many othe problems as well but these 4 core problems are the main issues.
