Kojo 4,676
Essien always did have underrated passing and creativity, in my honest opinion in his prime he was better than Yaya Toure, Toure is a class player but Essien was better at running the game, where i would vote for Toure for more attacking. I still think overall though The Bison wins. CHOULO19 and Rmpr
gary gordon 1,777
This is good for Essien. He can say he was a galactico. As stupid as it may seem to us, a lot of players dream of playing for Madrid. Good luck to him. It was breaking my heart seeing him rot on the bench. Madmax 9,219
Essien seems to be a cheeky mischievous sort behind the scenes. Dry humping Eva after the CL win, the daddy jokes probably an 'inside' thing) indicate so.

Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Watching him out there tonight I am absolutely furious at our board. He can do a job here from what I saw of him during preseason, and what I see now just confirms it even further. He needs to be here or we need to sell. Sheva. 5,373
Toure has gone past him easily twice.
Las7 951
He was decent out there but obviously not at the form which we remember from him pre-injury. Provided he stays fit he could actually play quite a few games at Real - they lack the type of things Essien provides.Essien gets taken off, Real concede a goal - coincidence ?
