So, so many positives:

They defended well but not once during the game did they show any urgency in trying to win the match and at least close the gap to put pressure on us in the remaining games. If I was an Arsenal fan, I would be slightly disappointed with the showing.

mourinho again outclassed wenger. one shot on target, and one good chance towards the complete end of the man.

courtoius - brilliant handling of the crosses except on that one occasion.

iva - was brilliant defensively. got outnumbered couple of times again but held his ground against sanchez. ust shows that when he is ordered to defend, he is a BRILLIANT defender.

GC - another solid performance. but i guess that means jack squat now a days, eh?

JT - captain, leader, legend. what a performance. brilliant.

azpi - another brilliant defensive display.

matic - what a performance. covered so well, not just the back 2 but our fullbacks too. was there wherevr required, be it defensively or while closing down.

cesc- poor. he did had a hand in making the 3 penalties, but poor in possession. too much dwelling on the ball by him specially when we had 3 runners in hazard, oscar and willian.

rambo - average game.was piss poor in the first half on the wing but absolutely bossed the 2nd. that 1v1 was the moment which could have so simply given us the title. that run towards the end and that tackle right at the edge of the box. shows that he should not be played on the wing.

hazard - very average performance.

oscar- MOTM for the first half. should have had 2 easy penalties. hope he is fine and can be there on the field when we officially win it.

subs -

DD - poor all around. even in the air. hope one of remy/costa can get fit.

zouma - lost all shape when he came on. playing as a DM in the end minutes does not mean just defending the box. left matic all alone.

Haha. Just listened to Jose's post match on five live. Hilarious, saying Arsenal were boring because they couldn't break us down and the fans wanted to see Giroud and Welbeck together upfront, then the sly dig at Wenger over tactical fouls.

Absolutely fantastic. Not only are we 1 step closer to the title but twitter is full of 'football purists' boiling their own piss in anger that we're going to win the league playing 'boring' football

Have a feeling that in a few seasons when we have transitioned, when Terry is gone, we have CB's that can play a high line and we go forward more...... We will look back and say damn that team could defend. Terry and Cahill are unbelievable when playing deep and Azpi with Brana make the back four top top quality. I mean world class. 3 games lost all season - one without matic (a place we definitely need to improve) and the other was an FA Cup game with half the team out. Everyone moans at PSG but in the home game the players just played terrible, nothing to do with mourinho. And it was 2 corners. And we still didn't lose.
