There's going to be a meltdown if we don't win today. City, Arsenal and United are 3, 4 and 5 points respectively behind us at the moment. Eeeek!

Still have another game in hand over all of them though.

A draw would be awful, but not the end of the world.

Giving him 15 minutes to play and impress is difficult. We spent a lot of money on him so if he was given chances in the team like Oscar has been given then we may see something. Dropping him in and out of the team, of course it will be difficult for him. He started against Everton. Nothing spectacular but decent. Started against Burnley. Poor like the rest of our attackers bar Hazard. I would like to see Jose start him. We paid £30m for him to be benched by a CM. Talk about ruining confidence...

But hasn't everyone for a whole week been saying how this is a must win match? If Jose had taken a chance and it did not work out, some on here would probably be breaking into his house tonight...

I think when he has a real impact off the bench, then he should start the following match. But why should he be awarded for a pretty bad sub performance?

Great balanced line up.

Luis attacking, Ramires/Matic filling the Azpi gap.

Ivanovic going forward, Willian filling his gap.

Matic to help the attack, Rambo staying back. Or Rambo rushing forward, Matic staying back.

Cesc to focus on attacking, can't afford a yellow.

No passenger (oscar) in the line up, so we finally play with 11.

The only questionable thing is Cahill or Zouma but Cahill has recovered some form so np I think.

You are talking about an experienced player who has lit up the Serie A here. Not no rookie. This is a quality player. He just needs to show what he can do.

What has Cuadrado shown for you to say that?

We got to a champions league final with Ramires on the wing. Cuadrado has had a season at his old club outscored by our sixth choice AM in Salah :D

Salah's best quality is his finishing. He's an inverted winger, of course he's gonna score more. Cuardado has played 2 full games and a few 10 minute cameos.

He is if we want to press high up the pitch. He also gives us more dynamism because he can switch positions (and cover) for all of Willian, Cesc and Matic.

Cuadrado is of course better in the final third in passing creativity and scoring. Different options.

He can't pass the ball. He is Willian 2.0 Cuardado is no slouch and can run for days. We're not talking about some 19 year old winger.

This is also a player who has moved to a new team and league less than two months ago and has yet to show anything special or even that he is adjusting well to the move.

Great line up, finally flipe starting, it's about time. Now I noticed a lot of you are surprised and frankly upset that Jose didn't start Zouma over Cahill. It's not because Zouma isn't better, obviously he is, but he chose Cahill because of experience and nothing more, and because kurt is only 20 years old and this is his first season. This has nothing to do with Cahill being English. Anyway hope we win, KTBFF

You see how you are exaggerating again or do I have to use another series of sarcastic questions?

Ramires has had many better performances for us on the wing than Cuadrado has.

I'm all for giving Juan chances, but 1) this is not a match for chances given our last 2 results. 2) I think he should get starts when he starts influencing the game off the bench not after he just had a bad sub performance.

I would hope so, he's been here for 6 years, Cuardado has been here for 2 months.

Cuardado has to influence games in 15 minutes like all of our am's have been able to do? Oscar gets to play no matter how poor, and Juan has to score a game winner in his 15 minute cameo? That's unfair.
