CHOULO19 24,332
What a stellar achievement! England's best ever LB and probably the most consistent perform. The lack of acknowledgement by the FA at the match yesterday is shameful, yet expected. BlueLion. 21,491
He's played more than 300 games for us, won everything you can possibly win in the domestic game with us, and played an integral role in winning us our first European Cup. That definitely is legend material.'Legend' is thrown away too often in regards to this period in our history, but with this being the most illustrious period we have ever had in terms of success (and probably ever will!), identifying the likes of Lampard, Terry, Cole, Drogba and Cech as modern legends despite their close proximity is befitting their status at the club. They have achieved more success than the likes of Tambling, Greaves, Dixon, Zola, Bonetti and Osgood ever enjoyed on the pitch, and by that reasoning they will one day be celebrated in the same fashion. We won't know how good these players have truly been for us until they leave. He's still underrated in my opinion. He's England's greatest left-back, he's probably been the best England player over the last decade and there's a good case for him being our greatest ever player. That might sound strong, but I can't think of any other Chelsea player who has been the best in their position in the world over a number of seasons.
