BleedsBlue 1,549
This is why I love this forum. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to follow each match so eagerly. Try my best not to miss a single game. I remember once watching the FA community shield game against City on my phone because there was no power at home. Luckily the laptop was fully charged that night so could charge the phone throughout the match.

manpe 10,861
i watch most games but i dont set my life around itSame here. When I can, I watch. When I can't, is either when I have no internet, no streams, the game isn't on TV or I have more important things to do. However, I will not miss any finals or super decisive games unless I can't do anything about it.

Spike 12,049
I miss games all the time. Sleep is a huge factor. In Australia I'd wake up at 3am to watch games but to be honest I'm quite exhausted of that and I'd rather get a good nights sleep than watch Chelsea thump a team like Aston Villa. If Chelsea plays a team like Arsenal, Tottenham, Man Utd it is a different story.
CHOULO19 24,332
Miss entirely? Like not even follow on Twitter? Don't think that has ever happened. Miss watching? Usually due to lack of coverage combined with shitty internet connection.
Kezza 1,965
Sleep/work is a huge factor.Earliest games are on at 1245am, lastest games are on at 845am (mostly mid week games, I have work at 830am)I watch replays on the Sunday, or just watch live text commentary at work.As said above, I'm not gonna get up at 4am to watch Chelsea vs Leicester or a Champions league group game, but will if its Chelsea vs City etc, or an important cup tie

OneMoSalah 8,886
I've missed almost every game this season due to sleeping on the toilet. Stupid bowels. I hope I'm not the only one.Na missed a lot of the games this year that have been mid week and that in November-January period because of work and stuff. Work should come first and foremost no matter what it is I feel, I mean if I was to be asked to work Saturday and had to put off watching the game on TV or going to a game, I could easily do it. Eden Hazardous 17
Work... even then I called in sick in a few occasions. Don't regret anythingI normally make my schedule around Chelsea games. Turned down parties, barbecues parties, boyfriends, dates, everything in the book. First Chelsea, then all the rest can come.I'll definitely be using a few well spotted medical appointments to make sure I leave work early, get to the doc and watch Chelsea during the week. I also used to watch the team through streams during work, when I wasn't a teacher and my manager knew it (as well as the whole floor, as many times I didn't contain my excitement and either yelled or jumped on my seat).Anything else can wait. Will you be my teacher? CHOULO19 24,332
Alright a different angle to this, what was the craziest thing you had to miss to watch Chelsea? Personally, probably my cousin's wedding.
Beepu 1,714
PL games here are at early mornings, around 1-4 am so no problems there. CL games are at 7 am usually but I have missed uni classes to watch them, but uni here is pretty laid back otherwise I wouldn't dare. But I have seen people saying proudly that they missed job interviews to watch games, I think that's abit crazy. At the end of the day real life > football. Watching football won't get you a living, unless you are a pundit.
Barbara 15,149
Alright a different angle to this, what was the craziest thing you had to miss to watch Chelsea? Personally, probably my cousin's wedding. As I said, I called in sick from work a few times, passed on parties and stuff, but just a few weeks ago, this guy that was just starting to see me wanted to spend the day with me - which I had no objections to, until I realized there would be a Chelsea match. He also happens to be a Chelsea fan, but to a much lesser degree and he couldn't believe I was dumping him to watch football. I actually asked him to come watch with me, but I guess he was hurt LOL. His loss
Hybrid Angel 2,130
If I could choose I watch the Chelsea game or something else I would always choose watching Chelsea. I always try to plan things ahead, I don't like to miss games because of flights and such. However, I miss pretty much all the Champions League matches because of the times in Canada since I'm at school. I always record the matches, but there is always some bastard who spoils the result for me.

LAB 1,030
I usually don't miss a game and if I do sometimes it's because of situations that are not under my control (work, family matters, etc). Also I haven't yet rejected anything too important for a game. It's bound to happen sooner or later though.I always choose to watch a game when I can. I will easily reject going out with friend's for example. The last couple of seasons I even started to plan my Saturdays to be free from work.If I have to miss the game I try to avoid spoilers because I like to watch them later. The last game I missed and some friends spoiled the score was 6-0 vs Arsenal. It was due to my internet connection. Also I am about to miss next season in it's entirety because I'll be in the army from September to May. I'll maybe find a way to watch the matches at some point but it's very unlikely. Yeah, I know, so much fun eh? Stupid laws....
Myself 793
I was at White Hart Lane when we lost against Spurs 5-3I wish I missed that game
Dy-lan 142
If I can't watch a match live I'll just record it (still follow it on Twitter tho) and watch it as soon as I can, which is usually just a few hours after it finished. However I RARELY miss a match. I think this season I missed the two FA cup matches that were not televised and 1 CL match. I was in between travels for our first match this season, so I was watching it on my MacBook at an airport in New York City. Got some strange looks when I celebrated that beautiful Fabregas to Schurrle goal lol. My current girlfriend already knows any plans we make must revolve around Chelsea's schedule. She gets annoyed sometimes but I don't even care, FEW things in life will ever come between me and Chels.
