Juan Cuadrado

I think everyone needs to calm down. Stoke are probably the most physical team in the league, and Cuadrado is not used to English football yet. In Italy nearly all the times he went over would have resulted in a free kick and probably a yellow for the opposition. He's probably a little nervous but when he was dribbling down the right and attempting dummies I saw glimpses of why we brought the kid. Tbh, while he was never better than Salah, he has different qualities which I reckon we'll only see from next season.

I think all those falls in Italy would have been a freekick so he's getting it all different here.. He needs to know how to put his body in the way of the defenders so he wins the foul instead of just falling down from any touch.

Come on, that honour will/should be Fernandos for a very long time.

Yh he was shit but not the 'worst'. He contributed something to the club no matter how little it was such as the Europa league run, that goal against Everton in final day, goal against Barca...etc. Sheva was worse imo as his goals were largely meaningless.

Atm if Cuadrado ends his career with most of the performances like yesterday then even though he costs half of Torres he is a worse signing.

Sign Jermaine Beckford, give him the same amount of chances and excuses Torres got and he would score a few some being crucial, law of averages and that.

Let's say for argument sake Cuardardo completely bombs but we give him chance after chance law of averages would suggest he would still give us some memorable moments.

It's still very early to judge Cuadrado. He has barely played and he hasn't prepared his body fully yet. I though he wasn't that terrible either. If he had scored that goal the comments here would be different.

Not even Torres was this bad, AFAIC. Cuadrado can't even hold onto the ball for more than 5 seconds FFS

Mineiro.

The man, the myth. I don't think even Mineiro knows how he ended up with a contract at Chelsea. Good thing we didn't have to watch him that often.

Has to be Ricardo Quaresma for me. The guy was a complete fraud. Must be a Serie A thing.

Oh man, we're reaching some dark places now

Quaresma at least was able to control the ball, though, something Cuadrado has struggled so far. Wow, that sounds depressing.

If people watched Neymar against celta vigo today, they'll consider cuadrado world-class compared to today's performance

It's a shame that most people watch him breaking records with the NT.

Its a shame someone of his level will score more goals for Brazil than a phenomenon like Ronaldo... And people who just look at stats will even compare him to Pele because of goals
