Henrique 9,133
Why on earth is Suarez in there? Hardly deserved...Because he was the best player in Copa América, it has nothing to do with PL. So yes, it was deserved. There is football outside Europe and PL.

termninja 5,290
Van Persie deserves a shout also for 2011...he scored a shitload of goals...definitely ahead of Forlan As lot of you have said David Silva should be there also.Agree with Henrique on Suarez. eldo 868
But's it's a scoop ! I used to think the Barcelona's substitutes used to press oranges for whose who plays at half time, my supposition hits a drag: there is no decent substitute bench (they can put a 13 year old on the bench, medias will speak about the marvelous Masia rather than the chronic unability to manage a whole squad with substitutes) and Barcelona's players can press like robots, and so 50 games a year with a little squad rotationSomething must go wrong in my reflexion.Otherwise there was a TV documentary about Messi on the French TV (I did not watch it) but it was acted like a melancholic drama... Just patheticMaybe they have cloned them and have few extra Messi and Xavis. Short bench is going to cost them this season, they are already 5 points behind Real. The Big Drog 1,110
Statistics beg to differ. In order to consider a team considerably better than the others they need to achieve something... Frankly, I don't remember the last time Real were in a CL final (2001?). Their recent achievements top with being runners-up to Barca in the league. They are a squad of outstanding individuals (as the FIFPro team proves).. but as a team, they're yet to prove themselves. However, with Mourinho being given time, I can see them tasting success again soon - I can't see him and Ronaldo being titelless for too long.Luckily, anyone with a pair of semi functioning eyes and a brain in decent condition, who also bother to watch Real Madrid play on a regular basis will know full well that Real Madrid are the closest team out there to Barcelona at the moment, infact Pep Guardiola says that right now Real Madrid are better than Barcelona, it would be tough to disagree with him considering Real Madrid currently lead the way in La Liga by 5 points. In Mourinho's first season they managed a Champions League semi final and won the Copa Del Rey, this season I expect them to achieve even more, they have looked much better this season than last (as Mourinho predicted) and almost managed a few clever signings. Statistics or no statistics, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two finest teams in the world, I don't know which of them will win La Liga and Id be fairly confident in saying this seasons Champions League winner will be from Spain, as it stands, Madrid are the only team capable of competing with Barcelona, you don't need stats to tell you that, just watch them play. Also, the team of individuals thing might have been relevant last year, check out the way they have been playing this year,a lot more emphasis on the team rather than the individual and the implementation of a Barcelona style hunting down in packs system. Amblève. 4,995
Also they've completely neglected German football, etc. Really a joke.If they name Neymar and Suarez into the Top 10, why the fuck isn't there Götze?! And Neymar winning the Puskas price is even more disgusting! I don't like Ronney but his goal against ManC was absolutely amazing! But then again, we all know FIFA is a joke... Also this and last years squad is quite different from their 2002 squad so what is the point of bringing that into it? Madrid are streets ahead of any club in England, the only club close to the two Spanish giants are probably Bayern Munich.

Amblève. 4,995
C'mon, you can't be serious... Rooney scored that goal against one of the strongest teams in the PL, the best league in the world! And the goal by Neymar was scored in the Brazilian league (no offense, but it's much weaker than the PL). I'm not saying it wasn't good, but it happens way more often in weaker leagues. IMO it was most about the hype around Neymar, why they have chosen it.

IMO it was most about the hype around Neymar, why they have chosen it.Rooney's was luck. It was the circumstances that the hype came about, if he did it v. Wigan no-one would care.. Which is the same argument you can make for Neymar. Neymar's was brilliant because of the run, the skill to beat the defender and the finish. Rooney's was pure, dumb, luck. You can twist both goals around to do the pro v. cons.
Amblève. 4,995
Neymar's was luck too, but that doesn't matter, I see. Scoring such a goal, like Rooney did against a Top 4 PL club makes it more awesome, but that doesn't matter, because it was more about luck than the ability to kick the ball that way. My point was not that it wasn't a great goal, it's the context of the explanation I was referring to.
TacticalBlues 2,817
Rooney's goal was luck? Sorry, RZA, but I have to disagree with you on that one. This interview was last week sometime, they chose Neymar, as would I (can anybody find this in better quality?) . Rooney's goal did have an element of luck to it no doubt, brilliant nonetheless:
