BlueLion. 21,491
He'll be sold in the summer... if a replacement can be found; Schwarzer will probably be retiring too, we can't afford to lose both.

Term-X 7,891
£7m? is that it?, might as well just run his contract out then, it's worth paying his wages for another 2 seasons then let a domestic rival get him for so little.

I don't know why cech is no longer as confident as he used to be in collecting crosses from the air. Its never good especially in the premier League, casillas would be skinned here. OhForAGreavsie 6,075
I just cannot imagine that Mourinho lets him go to ArsenalYou may be right but I'd like the club to act differently. Cech has been a brilliant player and a brilliant representative for our club. If he chooses to move then I believe he has done more than enough to earn the right to choose his own destination. As long as the buying club meets our valuation, I hope Chelsea will sanction whichever choice PC makes.

RoyalBlues 4,050
yes, we should let him to choose his own destination, but come on, not to bloody gooners. Like there are no other better clubs than them...This sum it up perfectlyWhy Chelsea must not allow Petr Cech to transfer to ArsenalThe return of Thibaut Courtois after his multi-season loan period at Athletico Madrid and immediate installation as Jose Mourinho’s number one goalkeeper has left the role of Petr Cech at Stamford Bridge uncertain. The Czech goalkeeper has seen himself go from first name on the teamsheet to back up almost overnight, with few expecting him to stay at Stamford Bridge as a back-up in the long term.It seems inevitable that Cech will move on in search of consistent first team action. Hopefully this will involve a dialogue between player to get the best for both the club and a club legend. For Chelsea the best thing would be a departure at the end of the season, allowing time to find a suitable number two as third choice Mark Schwarzer is now 42 and not a long term solution.Recent rumours have suggested that Arsenal could try and sign Cech in the January transfer window, but this is not something Chelsea should entertain.Regardless of how much money or the desire of the player, it would be foolish to sell such a talented player to a rival halfway through the season.Cech is one of the top goalkeepers in the world and there are top clubs that would line up for his signature. It would be foolish to sell him to a local rival with aspirations of competing at the top of the table.Whilst Chelsea fans recognise that Cech may want to leave and respect that decision, a move to Arsenal would not sit well. As experienced against Manchester City earlier in the season watching a legend play against you is not a nice experience.Chelsea fans recognise the service that Cech to the club and the silverware he has won during more than 450 Chelsea appearances. In a perfect world he would stay, but there is an understanding that he deserves more than warming the bench.Chelsea fans would not begrudge this legend of the club leaving to find first team football, but to a move to Arsenal would be a painful one.Let’s hope if the rumours are true, a European powerhouse enters the fray and takes him to the continent.http://metro.co.uk/2014/11/19/why-chelsea-must-not-allow-petr-cech-to-transfer-to-arsenal-4953820/
OneMoSalah 8,886
Why would Mourinho sell him to Arsenal? I mean selling Mata to United was different because look at where they finished and what sort of level they are at but letting Cech goto Arsenal, really? Can't see it. Mourinho wouldn't loan them Demba Ba last season and quite frankly I doubt he would even sell them a fucking yoghurt, never mind Petr Cech. Viper22 2,418
The only way i'll be ok with Arsenal having him is if they pay £60M+Otherwise, surely PSG, Juve or Roma would want him? With Sirigu being out of sorts, Buffon getting REALLY old now and De Sanctis leaving on a free in the summer? zolayes
