Oh you prefer Shevchenko?

I was just messing with you. however there's sufficient evidence to argue that signing league proven players doesn't necessarily increase the chances of a transfer being successful. transfer is just as much about luck as scouting and solid decision making.

There is no striker who alone can solve our attacking problems..I hope we sign someone who has proved his worth in the premiership to complement Costa..Remy for example could be a wonderful 2nd choice I think..

Lukaku.

BS. The part about Mandzukic isnt real (Sammer said today Mando wont leave). Meaning the rest is probably bs aswell...

They are still in the race for the Pokal and Champions. Do you think he'd be that stupid to write off his main striker in April? Of course he is not ffs, he wants him to be 100% committed to the club, not some resigned guy knowing he is just warming up Lewandowski's place. God...

Lukaku.

Thank you, was about to say that.

Why are people forgetting about him or so certain he's off or that Mourinho doesn't like him one bit? He's the perfect 2nd choice striker IMO, and he'd get plenty of game time as our 2nd choice striker as well.

People in the media seem convinced that we're selling Lukaku (e.g. on the Sunday Supplement). Not sure if they're actually reliably informed or just making crap up though. Probably the latter but I guess we'll see.

It's not like we loaned Lukaku out on the cheap, he cost Everton 5m and we only pay him 2.5m in wages. His loan plus Courtois' earned us 3.5m. We still lend these players out at a premium a big one for young players like themselves. The thing is if we sign Costa and Keep Lukaku and Eto'o leaves who will be out little forward who actually knows how to dribble in tight space?

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone says he won't stop Diego Costa joining Chelsea.

"It depends on him and what he believes is best for his future. I will support any decision.

"It is normal that Chelsea are interested in him. He has good economic potential. Eto'o gets older and (they want) Diego Costa to do their work, but now he's ours."

What I noticed about him is his shooting is nothing special. his shots are weak, not powerful. I don't like that in a striker, your striker should score in every way possible; whether it's a typical 1vs1 finish to a 30 yard out of the box shot. he never scores from outside the box. just saying.

That's because he's always good enough to dribble his way into the box and score a goal from there. Nothing wrong with that, it's not like he's a 'poacher' type of player who only scores when the ball is played to him inside the penalty box.

Would fit our team pefectly IMO.
