His directness is what makes him so deadly. He wasn't that great in the 1st half, but my god was he unplayable in the 2nd. They just couldn't deal with his direct running. As very few teams have failed to do.

El Cholo was amazing. Even if he misses few chances, he still scores and contributes greatly to the team. Top top striker.

Bad-form Diego (I read this even last week), is not only the top scorer with 9 goals, but the player in the league most involved in goals (12, with his 3 assists).

I do admit he's been missing more than usual, but as long as he keeps scoring, is cool in the pitch and keeps fighting and giving us his best, I can certainly overlook this. Also, many of his 'wasted' chances have been saved.

Costa continues to defy the ones that say he's too technically below par. Like I said when we signed him, his technique is unorthodox but it's good enough. 

Would love to see that gif of his control and nut meg turn for Pedro's goal. Sublime performance, just a bit cold with his finishing.

His passion, his desire, his willingness to keep running even when we were 3-0 up is amazing. Fantastic player, a teammate watching him alone can raise your game as a player.

His technique is below par but he is a few striker who can play as both target man and poacher.

He tore West Ham a new one. He showed some brilliant pieces of skill. That first touch to take the ball past Jagielka (after the crazy Pedro skill) which he should've scored from and of course pulling the ball out of the sky & the smooth nutmeg to help set up Pedro's goal.

I'm fine with him dribbling into packed defences this season tbh. My only gripe with him is his poor passing.
