Ryan Fong 2,776
‘I can say that today Costa is a Chelsea player. He didn’t play in these games because of injury and if he solves the injury and I see in training he’s in good shape, it can be possible to see him in the next game against Milan. But I can tell only this. ‘Today Costa is Chelsea’s player. Tomorrow if you ask me if Costa will remain with us, I don’t know.’ Is this the exact quote? Did anyone hear it right from Conte's mouth? A genuine question.

Well hopefully they've learned He wasn't worth 18m when we first bought him, I was surprised we got £28m when we sold him and now he will cost £60m to get back? Mind you look at the cost of forwards these days, Higuain is quality but £70+ for a 28 year old is a lot of cash, and Watford wanted £30m off Leicester for Troy Deeney.... The Chels 2,502
A video on Costa yesterday (in Spanish): http://www.cuatro.com/deportes/futbol/Costa-sincera-futuro-Sergio-Ramos_2_2220255038.html A fan asks him if we'll see him in Madrid and he wags his finger. Through the art of lipreading Ramos appears to say to him: "Why aren't you leaving? They're not letting you? Oh Gameiro's come." oldportblue
BXL70 396
It all seems that Diego is on its way out. I do not bother much. We have Michy; the guy is outstanding (I told you so from first day) and much more talented than ... Lukaku. But we would need another striker. Please not Lukaku! You know the joke circulating in Belgium? We are fortunate that brothers Lukaku are two and not three. Both Romelu and Jordan Lukaku have showed their limits during the EU Championship. Laughing stock tbh. The real problem lies with the defense. We need at least one world-class player to replace Cahill or Ivanovic.

Gilvorak 3,734
Our club is a bit of a joke. I would've wanted him gone if Lukaku wasn't going to be the replacement. Sell him back to Atleti, make a bold move for Mahrez & play Hazard as a #10 with Michy ahead. Wait it out for a while until the next big striker or prospect becomes available. This idea is quite refreshing and I can't help but to be excited about the idea of Michy Eden Mahrez on the same pitch. But what if Michy gets injured and we've only got Traore as backup? It's too big 625
Dude is a fucking baby and doesn't act his age. He should be grateful for the life he lives as a footballer instead of whining he can't go back to Madrid. Really winds me up how some of these players go on. You know what us mere mortals do when we don't particularly like our place of work? Stick it out until the opportunity arises to go somewhere else, not bitch and moan about how we want to leave all the time to anyone who is willing to listen. In the mean time, he should put his damn head down, get fit again and try helping us as a team in the league if he's still "stuck" here. Tosser. The goal for the club is inquiring an elite striker that would get into almost any club in the World, the type of forward we haven't had since Drogba. Costa isn't that & Lukaku sure as hell isn't either. Michy obviously isn't that but could potentially be, we save £75m+ if we luck out like Tottenham did with Kane & United with Rashford/Martial. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate Diego. I think his movement is among the best I've seen from a striker, his instincts are good and on form his finishing is exceptional. But, in addition to his lack of technique, he's weak in the air, his ball retention is almost nonexistent and his decision making can often be well below the level of the team; he chooses to dribble so many times, especially on the wings, despite the fact that he's so predictable and bad at it that even the weakest defenders can stop him most of the times. But all that doesn't take away from the fact that he can be an excellent striker if we play to his strength. To me, this is like when people were calling Matic the best DM in the world, or Thibaut the best GK in the world, almost no one without blue-tinted glasses thinks that. Doesn't mean that all of them aren't/can't be very good. Courtois is easily one of the best and defiantly the best in England.
