Diego Costa

Count me in as one who doesn't care what happens with this player. I think we'd do better to get Ighalo in ASAP this summer window.

Costa isn't a leader but I think he wants everything his way. Also, he's not as strong as people think/thought he is.

Imbula, Kouyate and Ighalo look like candidates for summer spending to me.

If i would support another club i would really appreciate it if Diego would go back to Spain. It must be so unpleasant to take him on, bah.

He's one of the best strikers in the game, always giving his all, sometimes he goes to far but that shows that he puts everything at stake for his current club.

It's all about winning, the winner takes it all, don't give a fuck about morality and 'sportsmanship', put the ball into the net no matter what.

We all pay our hard earned money to see him doing what he's best at: scoring goals!

Proper Chels' and for the record, he consistenly gets the shit kicked out of him, defenders target him all the time and try to fuck him up badly, but the refs don't care.

Finally we've found a successor to king Drogba, Costa must stay, for me after Terry's gone, he is the most important player at this club.

He leads the line, he leads us into battle! Diego is the man!

Ighalo? Really? Suppose we might as well buy Vardy and Troy Deeney too then. Ighalo is decent but hes not good enough to lead the line for Chelsea. At least those 3 could rival Torres and Ba for worse strike force of the last 10 years.

He's done a fine job for the most part in most two years, but we need someone better to help us be a force on all front again

Apart from Agueo and Suarez there is no forward around right now that would be a guaranteed upgrade, and neither are remotely attainable.

Any other striker would be a sideways move (in terms of level they are at) at best and there's very few of them either.

PS:ignore this for some reason this post has been back up and I can't get rid  of it.

Deeney would be a good back up with Traore, his all round game is top class would defiantly trade Remy for him.

Ighalo however we shouldn't go near, good scorer but all roundgamee leaves a lot to be desired.

Looks good technically and is strong. I still don't see many strikers out there to buy at the right age, with ability, experience and potential, strength and a good scoring record (accurate shooter).

Let's not act like he doesn't deserve it

When you're winding up people all the time yourself it's simply bound to happen that you'll get a taste of your own medicine. From the "new generation" Costa's one of only a few players I can actually "bond" with but the fact that he can't go 3-4 games in a row without getting involved in non-football stuff on the pitch is even worrying to me. The guy's 27, at what point does he calm down?

Deserved to be sent off against Everton. Need to sort his shitty ''hard-man'' attitude out. It's not working anymore lads. What were he thinking going for the neck bite vs Barry ? LMAO.

He was the biggest fool on the pitch vs Everton, next to Cahill.

He can dish it out so he surely has to be able to take some punches, you've got your point, but sometimes it goes beyond that.

Two-footed tackle, it could be the case its coming from behind, ellbows.

In the end he could be badly hurt, some words can't be the reason for it, out of line, imo.

Generally speaking i think Guus has done a marvellous job on him so far.

In my view he proved that he can do it for more that a few games without a big fuckup.

I don't think he'll ever reinvent, to a certain point this kind of behaviour is part of his game.

But you're right, the thing yesterday happened should never happen again.

You don't rate Higuain mate ? I would take him over Costa atm. Less fights on the pitch, scoring tons of goals and better dribbling skills as well.

Diego Costa could still face two FA disciplinary charges after he escaped action for attempting to bite Gareth Barry. #CFC (Mail)

Costa will be scrutinised by the FA for the furious way he reacted to being sent off and behaviour when he eventually left the pitch (Mail)

The FA are studying footage to see whether Costa has a case to answer for allegations he made an inappropriate gesture to the crowd (Mail)

What about Gabriel's horror tackle?!

Diego's punishment is somehow covered by the rules, but us fans can't turn against him now. He is a passionate footballer and it was clearly out of frustration. He is a changed man and this incident in particular was his only "slip" since Hiddink took over.

Frankly this season is over for Chelsea and Diego Costa could use an early rest. Have that hamstring checked over again and then get him pumped for the next season.

Deserved that punishment, no complains what so ever from me. Season's already over anyway for us.

Yea, I'm getting a little bit worried about his niggling hamstring problems. Hope he gets himself a surgery or w/e to stop the injury from coming back. We need our big man to come back stronger next season. :)

I'm confused over your avatar. Is it Cesc's face on Costa's head? Or only the mouth? Or am I seeing things?
