MrExcalibur100 7,124
Very poor management if you ask me. Risking a player like that just to play one game when he has his entire career ahead of him. At least now he can recover fully before the world cup.

If he isn't careful it could turn into a 2 months lay off

lucio 5,418
Imagine this is a start of a Torres meltdown for Costa, that would be pretty fucked up. I hope nothing serious.hamstrings are unlikely to be long term. but if you dont give them time to recover , they will keep niggling.
Milan 17,957
The thing is, this is not just one game. This is the biggest occasion in the club football.

RoyalBlues 4,050
That's it, Costa season finished. What a shame. Agree, that is not the most clever thing to do. I understand the physiological effect from Costa presence, but that a huge gambling by Simeone, how if the game goes until extra time, surely that's a massive disadvantage with only 2 subs. Bir_CFC 3,455
I don't know the whole sub was weird with everyone's body language. It was almost like it was planned that Costa will be subbed after 10 mins. Just so Real don't get a mental boost before kick-off.
RoyalBlues 4,050
Allright, now, could we announce the deal?
MrBlueGuy 1,552
Allright, now, could we announce the deal? Hopefully not, lets wait until after the WC and if he pick up a serious injury we can cancel the deal seeing as it is not official yet. MrBlueGuy 1,552
then who should we go for cavani, falco or zlanta??Heard rumors recently that Falcao might be available for 45m euros. Cavani is a no go because we basically just conned PSG into paying 50m for Luiz, Cavani is at least 60-70m now according to them. Ibra is unattainable. Best chance is probably Balotelli and Mandzukic
