Basel is the Barca of the Swiss league. If you watch what happens in those games, everyone parks the bus against them and just defends. He has a much more limited amount of space in the Swiss league

We didnt buy him just to sit on the bench. I can guarantee he will get more playtime than Mata got.

With Mata gone, the likelyhood of us playing a 4-3-3 is even higher. Which means again there will be alot of competition. Salah is up for the task, and there is nothing saying that once he has a few chances that he wont take over and get more playtime than Willian.

What Im trying to say is, Mourinho loves and wants competition in the team. It all comes down to how Salah performs. He could be our #1 RW, he could be loaned out next season, he could sit alot on the bench. Who knows.
