Oh god the Daily Star is arguably one of the only papers less reliable than the Daily Mail. Not sure if we can trust either tbh but the Daily Star's report of the details in the Salah transfer (£12m) certainly seems a lot more believable.

Anyone who isnt a dumbfuck will realize that this guy has nothing to do with the Mata-situation.

1. They dont play the same position.

2. We sell Mata because we want to buy Salah. <--- Read this out loud 5 times. Then think about it for two seconds and realize how stuipid it sounds.

3. Salah is here for competition at the right wing.

Of course he is the Mata replacement, Mourinho had 1 position in mind for Mata and that was the right wing. He did not fit so he opted for Salah.

In all honesty though, I can't remember a Mourinho signing that has failed apart from Quaresma. He has a great track record in spotting talent.

Tiago was a decent player for Chelsea, and was far from a failure, so much so he currently plays for A.Madrid, and also played for Juventus & Lyon. Kezman did a job for Chelsea as a rotation CF for Drogba. The other are probably right, but you get my point. Few and far between.
