If manure are willing to pay 50mln and Chelsea buy someone who is a big improvement of  the Serbian, I'm alright with it. But ideally, I won't prefer selling him to direct rivals, especially to team like manure, but if Juve are not willing to pay what Chelsea  want, better not to negotiate with them.

Just sell him and use the money to get a top class RW.

And when one of Kante, Bakayoko or Fabregas gets injured we would have no back up. Smort!

We have Boga and if we get someone like Dembele (yes I know there is literally no chance) he can play on the wing and in the midfield without any problems. Also if we get Ox he can play in the midfield as well, no point keeping this guy for 50m.

JUVE GIVE UP ON MATIC

Juventus face defeat in their efforts to sign Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, according to reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Manchester United are believed to be closing in on the Serbian midfielder after missing out on top target Eric Dier.

If Alex Sandro is pretty much dead in the water, would it be worth taking a punt and negotiating Luke Shaw as part of any deal for Matic?

A risky transfer given the last 18 months of his career (you only have to look at Jack Wilshere to see how injuries can ruin a player) but the potential upside would be huge.

Please no that guy stays more time recovering from injuries than playing. Besides that don't want to take a headache away from United. Either Martial involved or full money.

If he is wanted by Juventus, we should demand he is included in any deal for Alex Sandro and that only. If not keep him, he is still a very good player I think and his contribution last season was largely overlooked due to his partner in crime receiving all the plaudits. Do not sell him to Manchester United because it gives them a very complete midfield I feel, a very nice blend of power, energy and creativity. I don't see why people are urging we sell him to United??? 40M is a good fee but who is going to replace him if he goes realistically? I think we will only gain something if he is included in the deal for Alex Sandro.

completely agree with this, only deal  with the italians if Sandro is included in the deal, we need to play hard ball too, dont let him anywhere near the mancs, keep him around because he can still do a great job if needed and minding injuries during the season we need all the depth available. Cheers

Money is too good to turn down, no matter the destination. I wouldn't mind a new midfielder who puts in numbers in attack. I hear Renato Sanches is available. Gem of a player, and would cost less than what we would reportedly get from Matic's sale. Unless the club is just looking to balance the books to avoid FFP sanctions.

People keep telling me Sanches is an outstanding player but I haven't seen it. Certainly not yet at any rate.

I watched Sanches at the Euros and was stunned when he was voted young player of the tournament. If that was a genuine result, and not one based on the hype surrounding him following his big money move to Bayern, then I can only imagine that the other youngsters at the event were even worse. If anybody reviews his all touches videos from Euro 2016 I think they'll find it hard to disagree with my assessment that he looked ordinary.

Maybe people are basing their more positive opinions on other performances they've watched. I've seen Sanches in the Euros and the baby Euros, but nowhere else. Based on those viewings, I'd say Bayern made a mistake. If it is true that they are now prepared to part with him, then this would suggest that they think so too.

Bayern have too many good midfielders and they just bought Tolisso. Renato needs to play and with all the options they have at their disposal it's quite unlikely so they prefer to sell. Honestly if you watched him that many times and you can't see the huge potential in him I can't help you. If he was an ordinary player top clubs would not be interested in him in the first place.
