Chelsea v Liverpool

Nah... Let him continue marauding the areas on the pitch he's most comfortable. We are less likely to win with a winger who has a poor conversion rate playing striker, then we are with a striker with a poor conversion rate at striker. Lone striker duties are more than just scoring goals.

He did play consistently well playing as an auxiliary striker at Leverkusen.

A 0-0 would be the most realistic result to be honest. Only a fool would dismiss the potential of Liverpool to embarrass us, their confidence is sky-high after the form of Suarez and their play over all. Even off the back to the City game they'll be confident with the great fluidity of their game!

I'd have no problem with a "boring" tactic from Mourinho here to shut them off completely. We may be very much in the title race, but there's nothing to be confident about at the moment.

My sentiments exactly. Tired of coming here and reading 'we're Chelsea we should win easily' As if anything has ever been easy for this team. We've been inconsistent and that inconsistency should always be in the back of everyone's minds despite who it is we're playing against... There have been more nervy W's than easy cake walks and more draws and loses than sure things. Liverpool will come here full of confidence and give us a real game, we need to show up or we will get opened.

I haven't read a single post saying we're Chelsea and we should win easily. The only thing I've read is that we're Chelsea and we shouldn't be afraid of them any more than they should be afraid of us. Which is the truth.

I don't know whether Liverpool will come here full of confidence or not. The only thing I know is that, like I've said before, others bigger than Liverpool have come here full of confidence before and they won't come full of confidence the next time.

I've written us off many times and come out of it wrong and proud of my team. I'm writing us off again tomorrow i admit but wouldn't be surprised if we play well and get the job done. I do trust my team and manager but i just believe Liverpool are playing much better than us and are a more complete team atm. We're still a team looking for it's best XI whereas they are pretty comfortable whoever they play. We still have no CDM's, no in form striker and both full backs being played out of position. And of course they have a striker absolutely on top of the world atm. He's the X-Factor.

We may be lucky that Liverpool have Sturridge injured, a bit of a defensive crisis and no Gerrard. That could get us out of jail.

In 2 years we'll be the best team in the league i feel but this season i'm not expecting anything special. I can see the problems we have. I'm just happy we are where we are atm and competing. If we lose tomorrow it won't be a disaster because we'll fly over them again in years to come. I may sound like a gooner but it's all about top 4 this season, possibly next too. 15/16 will be where we go all out. I'm sure that's the aim. Just hope Roman allows it.

Lets go out power and strength and they won't know what hit em 442,2nd half against southampton

Check this out...

Cech

Ivan Cahill Terry Cole

Azpil Mikel Luiz Schurrle

Ba Torres

Then bring on oscar/mata/hazard/willian to finish them off

I actually think there is more of a chance for Cech to go up for a corner and score a bicycle kick than for Torres to score against Liverpool

Then he scores a brace...in our dream. But he always done the exact opposite to what expected, let expect him to fuck this up and he might just light it up for us  another City performance would be alright then he can never play for us again hopefully for all I care.
