The more I look at the challenge on Rami, the more I'm convinced it's actually a pen (maybe a soft one though). I mean he just runs into him and gets none of the ball.../quote]

Mak, sorry, but that was never a penalty!

Its shoulder to shoulder though, and before contact is made Ramires is already tumbling down by tripping on his feet.

Put it this way, if this had happen at the West Brom end then it would never, never be given. Home advantage played a huge part in the decision.

Penalty all day, every day lads.

If I was a WBA away supporter, I'd go home with a nice warm feeling in my tummy (like hot chocolate) knowing that justice was done and the result was completely fair! :D

It was a penalty for me, a soft one at a dire moment I know, but the fact was the defender bumped into Rami's back and didn't touch the ball at all.

Like I said it's probably an very soft one but still it's not a false decision by the ref. I admit we were extremely lucky there though.

It wasn't a pen but it was also not a dive they way the media and United fans are trying to portray. It was a coming together which Ramires didn't even appeal for. The ref gave it, which was great.

But this is probably our last pen for the next 2-3 months though. They will make sure they correct this mistake by ignoring our next 10 legit appears.

I said this in during our defeat to newcastle. It is now a main strategy for opposition to leave ivanovic free with the ball and mark the rest of the players. How he managed to impress coaches with his poor footballing and technical ability is stunning

Yeah, it seems to be something that's trending. He's a CB that's transitioned into a RB, that's why he isn't as comfortable on the ball as others. Azpi must play in these sort of games instead of Ivanovic. When we really need defensive responsibility at the back then yeah, play Iva.

I think it would be realistic to settle for a spot in the first four place of the PL.

We simply cannot win the PL by these kinds of performances! From now on I’ll watch our matches with no expectation except finishing in the top 4!!

And I just hope Jose doesn’t get the axe cause we need stability making something out of these youth players and more importantly, I don’t want to see the likes of that fucking Spanish waiter in here anymore though there is no one better than Jose out there.

This issue was already identified long ago by Fergie when we played United 4 years ago - http://www.zonalmarking.net/2009/11/08/chelsea-1-0-man-utd-the-positive-result-could-hide-chelseas-problems/. At least back then, Ivanovic can still produce quality crosses from time to time but now he's just rubbish!

in his own words Incredible unbelievable once he was asked about a goal that had been scored ,,,his reply "what goal I didnt see it "

That was hilarious, the time when he missed a sending off and he thought it was a substitute, you just couldn't make it up.

He was at it again today, first time of the season and he thought Ivanovic got sent off.

We should be winning these matches but I think the title race is over if Arsenal beat Utd. Still, I would be happy with top 4 and maybe a domestic cup with a run in the Champions League. Jose is here for the long haul, and tbh, we have had good seasons even when they seem bleak.

We were pitiful. From where I was it didn't look like a penalty. Feel quite sorry for west brom really, they defended incredibly well and actually tried to win the game, didn't really time waste much or anything and their fans generally aren't twats like stoke, west ham, villa.

Lampard was piss poor, ba didn't do much when he came on. Terry was quite solid, eto'o good. I do find the criticism of cech in the stands today rather tragic, pulled off a super save before their first goal, has kept us in countless games and is not very prone at all to mistakes. Shit happens sometimes. He looked genuinely upset too, unlike some members of the team that dont really care that much when they make a mistake.
