Which of our attacking midfielders are leaving the club first?

Srry to say it, but we have too many attacking midfielders. O.K. we have depth, but the thing is you need to keep those players happy, also there's the matchrythm aspect. Especially Mata is suffering from this. Like it or not 1 of Mata/Hazard/Oscar/Schürrle/Willian will be leaving the club in the near future. Hazard is not going to happen, Willian/Schürrle is too soon and it would make us look stupid. So it will be either Oscar or Mata and to me it seems José prefers Oscar by a landslide. They both have their weaknesses but i hope 1 of them soon hits their stride where they both offer creativity whilst tracking back also.

I hope they offload 1 of these 5 because they all would be certain starters at most clubs. These are not Marins, Benayoun lvl players who deserve to benched regurarly.

I we play good in all competitions we will have plenty of games and JM will be forced to rotate the squad.(injouries, fitness, lack of form...)

If not it might be JM himself who leaves.(Just think of the patience our club has with managers)

I´m not worried about the situation right now!

Moses will go. Marin is barely impressing in Sevilla at the moment so he will go. KDB could be made into a Lampard replacement or battle for Ramires place, otherwise I think he will be sold as well. I think Mata will keep battling for a place in the squad until the summer and if he still can't get a look in then he'll think about his options.

OK so we have the first victim, Kevin's agent just came out and said he is looking to leave in Jan permanently. Now we have 5 att mids which is still too much, another will have to go.

His agent never said anything. There are zero quotes. Or are there any?

5 players is what any team should have for 3 positions. Madrid had Ronaldo, DiMaria, Callejon,Madric and Ozil (and Kaka). Now they have Bale, ROnaldo, Di Maria, Isco, Modric (and Jese).

If anyone is not happy then he can go. The only player that can't be sold is Hazard who is by far the best of this 5. If another team pays really well for the others they can go where they want. We buy another player. We need to have 5 of them to play 70 games per season.

Marko Marin im pretty sure... Piazon is young and really impressing so I think he isnt going to be sold. Maybe Kakuta and Dávila will be sold.

Talking about our current players, all of them on loan are as good as gone. Unless Piazon get to Hazard's level he will not make it here, look at Kevin who is a far better player and have to leave.

I would bet money after the world cup, Oscar will be tempted...

I am not sure, he doesn't look like that money grabbing type. He looks really humble and loyal up to now, a bit like Mata but obvious difference is that he is preferred by Jose.

Agreed but yeah like I said, look how that ended up at Madrid. Ozil, Kaka and Callejon all left now. In a year or 2 if Isco is benched a lot, he will go. Same with Jese and Morata. In fact both of them were ready to leave this summer only for Perez to promise them more chances by not signing any striker. If Morata gets to play a lot regularly and Benzema is benched, you can pretty sure he will eventually want to leave as well.

So the point is that no matter how well you handle it, there are not enough games to please them all. For examples like you said, if 70 games is divided between 5 players, on average each will get about 12 the whole season. Do you think that is enough for the like of Hazard, Oscar and Mata? Who are all expected and capable of playing at least 55-60 of them. Point is that eventually, no matter what happens, SOMEONE WILL want/have to leave unless they are money grabbing players then it would be worrying.

No way we'll only have 4 attacking mids. 1 injury and we're back to last year's depth problem... People wanted depth and now they want to cut it...

No one want to cut it, the players themselves want to. It is great talking about depth when you got the likes of Kalou who is willing to sit for 3 months without playing if needed. Schurrle, Mata and Willian all want to be starters eventually. None of them are gonna just sit there as back up because they are too good.

Then I missunderstood what you said. Anyways, I think you can get enough rotation to keep 5 of them...

Last year we had depth.

But Moses went to the tournament with Mikel...

So, it was essentially 3 ams for a good chunk of the way..

6 is def. way too much. Especially, 6 young ams......

About 4 is enough imo, last year we had 4 and Moses hardly got a game. 5 is too much let alone 6

I don't know dude, last year Moses hardly had a game even though we only had 4 attacking mids. Unless Hazard/Oscar some how broken their leg and out for 3 months+, they will keep on playing 90% of the time. 3 quality international players for 1 position will not go down well. It is only well atm because Schurrle and Willian are still new and wants to prove themselves. But in a year time someone is bound for permanent bench.
