Just the perfect line-up for me too. This is no game to take for granted considering our failures last season. Other fringe players should only be given game time if all is going as planned( that is 3-0).

Its pissing me off that mourinho doesnt want to give MVG a chance. We had good cohesion in the preseason games when he played. Maybe because it was preseason, we may have underestimated his impact and those tackles he puts in for the team. He should play this match, we'll control the midfield(both defensively and offensively) better with him because of his quick thinking and passing.

With so many options in the team now, someone sometime is bound to get left out from the matchday squad altogether. And Mourinho has said as much that sometime he will make decisions that are strange to us all..

Currently, there are too many players on the team.

It could lead into dissatisfaction of some players for not playing much.

Even this Willian, soon Jose will use him. Which means other players won´t be even on the bench.

For example, poor Essien has not been on the pitch yet.

Personally, I still feel Jose has not done well on the transfer market.

We haven't seen Willian play, Schwarzer hasn't had a sniff, Schurrle wasn't great against Everton but worked incredibly hard in previous games, we haven't seen Van Ginkel properly and whilst Eto'o missed chances against Everton surely we can't judge these a failure after one game?

I do not judge any failures, at all. I judge Jose´s summer dealings. Too many players for too few positions.

How many players were signed, regardless of who actually signed them ? Why was Willian signed ?
