🇨🇲 Samuel Eto'o

The ball bounced up just as he hit which is why he hit the bar, would have been a goal otherwise.

Very good game, he presses really well and intelligently. I wish he was 3 years younger.

Ok...i often wonder if i am seeing a different game...he was terrible.

I was so hopeful after the Utd game, however sadly it seems to have been a fluke. He is back to being woeful. We might as well have had no striker on yesterday he was terrible, So many chances he wasted. It was hard to watch when the rest of the team did brilliant. Ah well just as well our defenders can score <_<

I think we were watching different games. The Samu I did gave his absolute all, and in games like that, that is all you can ask of a striker playing in a team that doesn't need a striker.

There wasn't a bad player on the field, end of.

I think there is a notion that if a striker doesn't score he's been poor, not the case here. He works his cock off last night, I don't know what more could of been asked of him that he didn't carry out. Yes he never scored but fuck me did he put a shift in.

The only striker that we should keep from the ones we currently have.

A lot of class and experience, he didn't score, but he's had a GREAT match, not only with the assist, but how he's linked up, dribbled, helped our attack.

I want him to stay and be our 3rd striker

Another good game, in fact he's been in good form for weeks in my opinion.

I have said for a long time Hazard needs a technical striker to play one-twos with and his second goal today was a perfect example. That's one reason why I don't rate Torres or think Lukaku is a good option for us, we need a technically brilliant striker to compliment our players.

He seems to be developing great understanding with our AM's, Hazard in particular. He has a tendeny to put his head down and go for the impossible sometimes but he's been linking up well and playing pretty tidy lately, credit where it's due...

Really, good...and his close control is a joy to behold at times. Very much like the old Eto'o minus the deadly finishing.

Yes, Eto'o is showing his class and he is playing well, but let me say it is not only the straight finish that lacks compared to his old self: Eto'o was much more than this, much more; if you didn't see him playing on a regular basis, you really can't understand what I mean.

The Eto'o of now wouldn't even think to do a thing like this:

Also the Eto'o of old used to play a lot in Hazard's position, and he has been the player who accomplished the greatest number of dribblings (95, if I'm not wrong) in Italy during 2011 season.

Now it is:

Willian Oscar Hazard

Eto'o

Before it was:

Pandev Sneijder Eto'o

Milito

A totally different story, trust me. ;)

Being said that, I'm really happy for what he is doing (considering he really came out of a "golden" retirement), especially for his winner mentality: you never forget that.

I still think he would get preffered to come on over Lukaku in circumstances.

Say for example we sign Costa, im guessing most games he will start with Lukaku and Eto'o on the bench, say for argument sake Costa is having an off day and the opposition were well organised and we needed to be tactful to get the goal im certain Mou would choose Samuel.

If on the other hand there was space begging to be exploited then Lukaku will be the one to come on.
