No, death of a loved one is not something you ever totally recover from, it eases with time however. I think it is harder for others to hear than you to talk about but honestly it helps to talk about the person who is gone.

I have not lost a boyfriend but I lost two sisters and a niece at the same time, so I understand. Loss is never easy and even harder because people think you don't want/need/are able to talk about it. Talking is the best thing you can do. It helps you heal.
