Then why shouldn't he be subbed off? He's losing possession too much in attacking positions which is leading to Swansea City counter-attacks. Benayoun would retain possession better while Marin would likely offer a more direct threat than he is. We can't keep him on giving him the benefit of the doubt just because he's young and 'adjusting'. We have to do what's best for the team.

Another option would be to simply switch around the "3" so he plays central with either Hazard or Mata on the right.

Point is - This is a must win game. Regardless who it is, if they're not playing well, being subbed has to be considered.
