Well this info was uploaded on several sites during Decemeber about the weekly wages of some of our players. I thought it would be some useful information. Personally I don't think it's 100% true:

Eden Hazard - £185,000

Fernando Torres - £175,000

John Terry - £175,000

Frank Lampard - £140,000

Ashley Cole - £120,000

Petr Cech - £100,000

Gary Cahill - £80,000

David Luiz - £75,000

John Obi Mikel - £75,000

Juan Mata - £67,000

Daniel Sturridge - £60,000 (former player)

Ramires - £55,000

Oscar - £40,000

Paulo Ferreira - £40,000

Ryan Bertrand - £40,000

Marko Marin - £35,000

Cesar Azpilicueta - £30,000

Victor Moses - £30,000

Branislav Ivanovic - £28,500

Ross Turnbull - £17,000

Oriol Romeu - £15,000

I believe Ba's Slaray is around- £100,000

Some reliable sources reported that we doubled Ba's Newcastle salaries meaning 80k when he plays and 40k when he doesn't.

No it was that Newcastle were prepared to double his salary so that he stays at the club. That was the news. Anyways this is just what ppl believe

I personally find debates on players salary's completely pointless. I don't think we will ever find out exactly what they earn but even that is irrelevant IMO because their performances are far more important.

I just found it so I thought it was worth uploading

Hazard does not make 185k and JT does not make 175k. Otherwise they would all be on the top10 list of football wages.

Luiz had his salary increased after he signed a new contract extension and I bet Iva is on much higher wages (something like 60k)...

Ba is on around 80k (rummors that he is on 60k + 20k for fitness) and it is a matter of time until Mata is on 100k/week.

I believe players´ salaries are not pointless to debate about. Perhaps, the above numbers may not be as accurate as one might think but certainly it´s close.

I find it almost repulsive to see it for any footballer to make so much.

When one compares these wages to an eye surgeon who saves your eyes & makes much less, it´s sickening, in my view.

How many operations do you watch live? Who's your favourite surgeon to control on FIFA Eye Surgery 2013? Which surgeon's name have you got on the back of your white coat? Do you use Adidas Predator Stethoscopes?

Unlike some, I can answer you in a much more civilized way...

Salaries were never based on how important their role is to society. It is solely based on how much your job can profit your employer!

Sportsmen and Artists are capable of making people spend their money, so what they make is actually only a small percentage of what they give in return. The amount of money they generated to sponsors, clubs, associations, etc is a lot more than what they earn.

Doctors, Nurses, Firefighters and Teachers (on the other hand) dont give any money in return for what they do. Yes, it is way more important and unfair, but that is not how the world goes.

It is really expensive for the government and hospitals to maintain a good staff, while in the showbusiness it is rather lucrative!
