He has to, Maloney is one on one with him - made it hard for Maloney but Maloney came up with a big finish.Exactly. He hardly did a Reina. He was trying to make it difficult for Maloney, not giving him time on the ball, but he was too composed. Be the best player in ligue 1 2 years running... Ok it is not exactly the greatest the league, but he has proven what he can do. I am extremely happy with our signing and don't regret it in the slightest. He can become one of the greatest players in the world and has massive resale value. Worth 32 mil easily by todays standards.Gervinho was quality in Ligue 1 so holding that league as a reference to provide a players quality is poor. HE IS QUALITY AND HE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME GREAT. This is his first season and considering his age, he has provided great service. But before he joined he made out to be a better than what he is worth with what he did with the other clubs and how he made himself out to be with his transfer and his player wages. He has been good, but not for what we have paid for. Your biased view on him would not get you far on a neutral standpoint or forum. Strange. My biased view is supported by many, many better scouts and managers than you, also I believe it still is ok to supporter or a player you like, no? I believe I am still safe :-) Also, you did not pay shit for him and still expect him to be Messi. Your conclusions about him thinking of himself as world class are the figments of your imagination I fear. Let's judge him in due time, that's all I am saying.
