True, not as expensive as Torres, but he was also worse.How would it equal 30-35m? Are we working on inflation here? It was over 10 years ago. I understand that 12m was regarded as a higher sum back then but that doesnt change the fact that we paid 50m for Torres and only 10m for Sutton. We still should have enough but i really don't understand the whole marin situation. He hasn't been great but he must have showed his quality for us to purchase him and he has never really been given a chance. Ba, for torres, because a confidence thing??? And if mata is ill why is he on the bench. I don't see how you can be well enough to be on the bench but not start. He is fit and we have been told he can play. He is getting paid 100k a week and i am sure he has a mask and doesn't plan on using his nose much. (I am not saying its like ba refused to play as i cant see that happenning) but that i a lousy excuse. JT has played with broken ribs. And that would have a massive effect on playing.
