Henrique 9,133
Zambia gk is very nice character. I cant same the same about some members here who love to create arguments when there is no reason to do it. Its not a topic about Didier showing up in big games or not. LDN Blue 7,903
Zambia gk is very nice character.Definitely! He was brilliant, held his own very well, doesn't look like the type you'd want to get into a fight with though
Santiago. 1,500
Yeah, Zambia's goal keeper is a nice characterEspecially the gesture towards Drogba after he missed the penalty, swell lad

You must understand that most players are SOMETIMES not going to perform to the best of their ability in big games its because football players are human at the end of the day. You just dug your own hole
Ollie 4,400
Dunno how this turned into a Drogba abuse thread. The whole team didn't play how they can in this final including Gervinho, Yaya Toure and Kalou. The best player today for them was Max Gradel when he came on for Kalou. They bottled it.... again. You just dug your own holeWhat player on planet earth doesn't show up in big games ''sometimes''. I once upon a time seen Messi not show up in a Championsleague knock out game against Liverpool. I have seen lors of games were Ronaldo and Henry have not played very well in big games, these guys are human deal with it.
Rubber bullets 1,183
Could we please just shut up about Drogba and big games and just praise Zambia for a great performnce?
Ollie 4,400
Abuse? It's a fact that Drogba sometimes is absent in big European or International MatchesWho isn't? Even Messi and Ronaldo are very absent in international matches and they are the 2 best players in the world. Look at Rooney in the 2010 world cup, he's Englands best player. Look at Lamps and Gerrard for England, look at Henry for France.... Come on mate, nobody plays well in every big tournament.

The big players especially lone strikers like Drogba usually will have 2 world class defenders and a holding players clogging up their space. Wide players are a bit harder to negate because they play on the fringes of the pitch.
