I actually think he's a better passer than Xavi. Xavi will always complete more passes and make more passes in general, but the amount of accurate long-balls, long-passes, switches of play etc. which Benat often does far surpasses that of Xavi. Only Xabi Alonso has the same range from what I've seen.
