Can't agree with you more. Today there are publishing a news story that Zlatan is being offered by Barca to Chelsea and Manchester City. What a load of rubbish. You can imagine City trying for a deal but not Chelsea for a player who is 28 years old in current financial climate.

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he would like to bring Liverpool ace Fernando Torres to Stamford Bridge.

Torres' future at Anfield has been the subject of conjecture in recent weeks following Liverpool's failure to qualify for next season's Champions League and their much-publicised financial problems.

Chelsea star Didier Drogba fuelled rumours of a move for Torres by revealing earlier this week the Spaniard would be his ideal strike partner.

Ancelotti has now refused to rule out a move for Torres, with Manchester City also thought to be weighing up a mega bid for the player.

"It's not only Drogba - I would like to play with Torres. He's a very good player," said Ancelotti.

"But this is not an issue for now. He is a Liverpool player and is a good striker but we have two fantastic strikers and this is not for this moment."

I agree I think Aguero will be a better buy. Had a great game the other night and seems like a type of player we need. I think if we were to get Torres then we will only see him for 2/3 of a season due to his injuries. Not denying he is a great player but would rather Aguero.

Not exactly a ground breaking quote from Carlo, he isn't saying that Chelsea will be trying to sign Torres, just that he admires him as a player. Again wher on earth does Torres fit into our team? Carlo would also love to sign Messi but it isn't going to happen is it?

He's also not saying that Chelsea will not be trying to sign him. He said "this is not an issue for now." What will he say next month or after the WC?

Maybe Anelka won't be offered a new contract even though it's gonna expire very soon.
