What is said about Raul is bullshit though. He wasn't played as a 9 in his later years at Madrid. Actually he was shoved back a spot as soon as Brazilian Ronaldo arrived, hence less goals. AC Milan are plotting to terminate the Spanish star's two-year loan deal after growing tired of his inconsistent performances. TBH, I wouldn't mind if he came back.

It's not like he has to play any games. We have Drogba, Remy and Diego all ahead of him, whereas previously we had only Eto'o and Demba. He'd be a decent option for the wide positions in the 4-2-3-1 as well, if necessary. Wouldn't be the end of the world.

No offence, but Torres isn't designed to play any type of football. It's not a physical thing either, he's mentally fucked. He just doesn't have it in him anymore. Very sad because I was one of the guys that really wanted him to do well here.
