Cosmin 2,484
Two questions (sorry if they've been asked before):1. If Torres comes to Chelsea, can we use him in the UCL?2. If Torres comes to Chelsea, can we use him against Sunderland on Tuesday, or at least against Liverpool, on Sunday?Thank you!

LDN Blue 7,903
I thought he's cup-tied because of Europa League?Never mind. Just read the rules..One player from the above quota of three who has played UEFA club competition matches for another competing club in the current season may exceptionally be registered, provided that the player has not been fielded:− in the same competition for another club− for another club that is currently in the same competition.Furthermore, if the player’s new club is playing in the UEFA Cup, his former club must not have played in the UEFA Cup at any point in the current season. If Torres comes to Chelsea, can we use him against Sunderland on Tuesday, or at least against Liverpool, on Sunday?Thank you!I'm not sure about UCL but 90% since Liverpool can only dream to play there now, and if Torres passes medical yes he can play against Sunderland.Boy I sure as hell hope we sign him, he's a class, and I think he can regain his old form with us. We need to win the Champions League and Torres is Champions League quality. It's not your or my money, it's the club's and they know better than me, you or anyone else when and how much to spend. Be more optimistic.

cfc-meleady 192
Basically why not sign him?..Roman is willing to cash in on him, he has the money for it without effecting anything and we're not bidding for anyone else.Even if he ends up rubbish we still took the soul from every scouser! Milan 17,956
Torres rumour topic started in May 2008, Aguero rumour topic started in June 2008.And in 2011, both of them scoring goals for Mighty Blues :eyebrows:
