Fernando Torres admits he did not care if Chelsea won or los [Paulo Ferreira] taught me to say to myself: 'This is the situation now.' He always trains as hard as anyone, he always has a smile, he is always close to the young players. He has taught me a lot.t.

He seems to be above the law at this club.

Not even Lampard and Terry would have got away with saying they didn't care about results, there would have been about 10 pages worth of uproar if it was any other player, has Kalou ever said that then i wouldn't even want to think, but no we can't criticize Torres for saying he doesn't care about results because he might see this thread and ruin his confidence.

I'm sure if he talked like that about his National Team he would not be called up again.

If he said that at his National Team they don't use him correctly; there are far too many old players who play slowly and don't utilize him correct; he is mainly on the bench when he should be playing(even though the team has just won a major trophy); saying his Team Mates in the National Team don't care about the result when they ain't playing and he feels the same way. You ain't no mind reader Fernando and even if you are it's best you keep such opinions to yourself - and if Kalou had said such a thing he would have been crucified and booed by our fans.

He needs to keep his big mouth shut and do his talking on the field this is disruptive to our squad. Imagine Lampard thinking that Torres said that about him right now, would he really want to play too much with a player who has such opinions of his teammates.

Yes he would have been better served to not say anything but the press have once again twisted this to try and rock the boat at Chelsea.

He actually commented that he had come across players in his whole career who only cared for themselves and not the team. When he was struggling last season he felt like he was turning into that mindset and knew once that happened something needed to change and he needed to 'snap out of it'. The press have taken this that he was talking about the Chelsea squad playing for themselves and not the team which isn't true.

Once again good outside the box, but he is the poorest striker I've seen play for us in ages inside the box. His movement inside the box or better said lack of movement inside the box is extremely disappointing he stands in one spot expecting the ball to hit him in the foot or something. He won't get easy goals like Sturridge's if he is not moving and trying to beat players inside the box and he is awful when he needs to think about how to strike a ball at the goal.

Still boggles my mind how we decided that he should be automatic first choice at CFC.

Was good in the first half, nice passing and dribbling. Second half he should have definitely score though.

Yeah, 1st: counter in front of Friedel, should have at least shooted (had to score) and 2nd: made the right movement and just got unlucky.

Yes can't blame him for the one that went wide, that's just bad luck, the ball didn't curl back in on time.

But the one where he raced clear of everyone, any kind of shot and old man Friedel would not have saved it.

Completely agree. He's always laboring a bit when about to get a shot off... and that's all defenders need to stop it.
