We might as well breach his contract then and pay off the two years. Same principle.And I know we've been trying to sell him but maybe we've still been asking too much for him then. As I said, any price would've been good, even a symbolical pound. Just to get rid of that immense salary that's not leading to anything.We arn't playing all of his wages, we tried to sell him and in what world would paying his contract off be a good idea? it would cost between £16-18m!!! He lost his attributes that made him so great, he looked lost for Liverpool under Roy before we even signed him.
