termninja 5,290
I felt he did alright, though he looked very exhausted out there, but considering he has played an incredible amount of games in last 2 years I can understand that. Still at 29 years of age I feel his best years are way in the past and no matter how well he does, we should look to sell him while we still can. We do not need a high earning player who depends a lot on his pace and is almost 30...

Rmpr 8,977
Not everywhere in Brazil is!Yeah, every host city for the World Cup is in the south hemisphere, so everywhere teams go to is winter! However, it is not even the heat that bothers, it is the stupid high humitidy in the Northeast (Fortaleza, Recife and Salvador) that will fuck with the players. It prevents you from sweating, which prevents you from coolin down, meaning you will get tired a lot faster and you will need to constantly drink water!I get what you were saying and you are right, but it is still winter and it is more the humidity than the heat itself! I thought he did very well yesterday. Definitely one of Spain's better players while he was still on the pitch.

Mouri_Matic 560
Torres is in form but he will lose it soon.He isn't, an in form player will never be replaced up front with a CDM which just happened to him last night. I think this tournament was his last chance to prove to Jose he could still flourish but he threw it away. Think he will be sold in July/august. Share Posted June 28, 2013 Compare this performance to his performance vs the same back 3 at Stamford Bridge last season. He's come a long way since then. He's gone from complete shit to just shit.I'd be upset if he's a Chelsea player next season and even more upset if he gets more game time than Lukaku. Not good enough for a club of our ambition. Peace., OneMoSalah, The Mak and 2 others
Jase 43,479
Torres may have done well last night but let's not completely over-exaggerate it like he actually played very well. Because of his complete rubbishness in the last 2-3 years, it's too easy for us to praise him or over-praise him on a decent performance when he's still not performing to the level that he should be performing at.
