I found myself not caring last night..

I wish I didn't care.

Unfortunately last night was one of the worst nights ever for supporting Chelsea. Watching a shit match and then looking at the players on the pitch and realising there was no-one on the pitch who was proper Chelsea, apart from Cech. And then looking across to the dugout and seeing Benitez in charge.

Just want this season over - now I know how Arsenal fans must feel.

Nobody wants Rafa here and Torres is rotten. Roberto could have sold Torres in January and got in a couple of quality strikers. But no, we are stuck with these plums for atleast the rest of the season. Has Roman gone to far? Aaaaaaaahhhh!!!

Why are we assuming we won't have any additions in the winter transfer window?

Our problems started long before Benitez, the realism is that robbie HAD to go before we carried on playing this suicidal football, he was always on borrowed time.

It isn't like the board sat and said 'lol lets put Benitez in charge and piss 90% of the fans off' he was the only safe, tactically astute manager that could come in with proven pedigree.

Fortunately the transfer window is in 9 games and if we can stay in 3rd till then ill be very happy considering my expectations for this season was 4th

If we win World cup and finish 3rd I will be just happy. That was my 'goal' from start of the season, considering the new players we have. Anything else will be bonus.

Im not one of the Benitez haters but while this is going on (fans hating him) this team is going nowhere.

This is the most audacious in the history of football but the Russian League is on a winter break between 13th December and 10th March, would Hiddink be allowed to be interim for that period? risky but if he can as good as secure a top 3 finish by then we could just stick Steve Holland in for the remainder of the season after that then sort this mess out good and proper in the summer.

Im not a Rafa hater, but for aslong as 90% of the fans are, the club will suffer and at the end of the day i want what is best for the club.
