Not unfairly I might add.

Some was generally not fit and a disaster to manage us anyway.

Personally, I think we need a fresh start with someone like Guardiola who can come in and implement something new. Benitez has done well but I don't know what his vision for us going forward would be, although I've been encouraged with what he's done with young players both here and at Liverpool.

Hard to see him as anything more than a stop-gap at the moment.

No point of bringing someone in like Guardiola to implement a certain playing style on us if Roman doesn't change his ways of being impatient. Ultimately, all he cares is about results, despite all this talk about him wanting us to play attacking football. The obsession with trying to play attacking football has led to Roman hiring managers and then sacking them the minute something goes wrong. We will soon run out of finding a top quality manager to manage us.

Not sure where I disrespected your club ! but yes I can fuck off ! :D bye
Ignore some of the retards on here mate; here's a rule of thumb for you: if they can't respect the English language, then they aren't worth taking notice of. Ironically, almost all the idiots on here can't spell, use proper grammar or communicate with the Internet in any respectable manner.

Back on topic; quite liking the way we are playing under Rafa. Yes he's a FSW, but at least he's currently Chelsea's FSW! Good job Rafa!

I've said before but I think Roman would afford Guardiola more time than anyone else. He's got the track record to protect him and he'd be the biggest appointment since Mourinho, with all respect to Carlo. Plus you've got to hope that he wouldn't put himself in a position to be in danger.

As I read above..the objective is to win at any cost, no matter how the team plays as long as they win.

We, I would slightly disagree here. Do we want to see park the bus tactics & pray for the other team to misfire on their chances ?

If I may, I do not care much to see these types of fucking football games.

Wasn´t it much more enjoyable to see Chelsea playing an attacking football ?

I do not believe Roman was or is looking to hire a manager who is going to play defensive style only. Of course, Roman needs to buy players to play " beautiful football games. "

Thank you mate, and I would also like to say, that I am actually a "closet blue" and have been since the day i started enjoying football from the age of 5.

I come from a 95% Chelsea area, my father has a restaurant where everything from the table cloth is blue, because all the customers are blues !!

All my mates are all blues, I lost my virginity to a girl wearing a chelsea shirt !!! lol...

The reason I fell in love with Liverpool was because I was born in the 80's , and Liverpool were always on the TV, and i liked the red top.

The reason I love rafa's work is because , with him I actually experienced some of the greatest high's as a fan in my life like you did with RDM, and Mourinho, the high's that I only experienced in DVD's of liverpool previously.

The guy has a cult following no other, I am happy he is doing well, and unlike most LFC fans i m quite happy he is with chelsea !!

By the way my first 10 games live were at the old bridge , my mates have been season ticket holders since High school , and we actually had dennis wise training my school team oncea s part of a competition !! he is a great guy, and a player worth few bob in todays market !

Houllier left the academy in a dire straight, Rafa transformed it and infact brought in the players Brendan Rodgers is promoting today.

To put another angle on it, if dalglish had spent that 120 odd million responsibily instead of wasting it would these players be getting a chance? surely the reason these players getting a chance at liverpool is as much if not more to do with the fact they now have a small transfer budget and a squad full to the brim of mediocre players?

Had liverpool for example not spent 80m on carroll, henderson, downing and adam but instead spent it on say adebayor cazorla sessegon and cabaye (and probably had change) then they wouldnt be in a position where they needed they best youth players to step up due to the lack luste displays by the aforementioned.

Hard to say because you don't know who would be in charge now.

Benitez has really been the remedy we needed as a club, for the last 2 years or so.....

Because of his current arrangement with us, he isnt talking in the air about the future, or playing fantasy football hoping everything works perfectly, FIFA style,

He is getting our basics correct first, then making players make an effort, then solidifying the team formations, then the last thing is attack....

Such methodical and well drilled work is shining through and he deserves acknowledgement for it from everyone, Chelsea or not.

Some people i guess are too stubborn to change their views, and then some of us can see beyond trivial things in the past. Its the present that matters and how it is affecting our future.

I hope our fans soon let go of the 16th minute Di Matteo song.

He won us the CL, and in many people's views, was dismissed wrongly, but he isnt dead, or has a life threatening illness.

The song has been sung for long enough now IMO, i think it will only be beneficial for the club and team as a whole to finally let it go and move on.

FSW might have done something in the Liverpool academy, but there is absolutely no way he'll have any sort of impact on ours, simply because this is not his job.

True, but Piazon and Ake got a run out, something i would have never expected Di Matteo to do/

Not that they were pulled up though him, but he gave them a chance....and that was heartwarming, considering the last few years where none of our managers even gave youngsters bench positions.

Our academy doesn't need a whole lot doing to it (for which the board and Arnesen need some credit), but before today Benitez gave two academy graduates their league debuts. That's a great boost for every lad working hard, to see someone like them getting a chance in the first-team because they deserved it.

Perhaps you haven't heard but Robbie played our academy product in the Champions League FINAL.

Anyways, nice to see the two youngsters getting a few minutes, not that it means anything.
